I'm not looking for rides or anything like that... but I find the westside to be ridiculous...its got the same darn stores you can find at a mall...I don't see the point in paying thousands of dollars to go to Disney to shop at stores that are all over.

I think you need to consider what you're looking for: Will you be spending a lot of time in the resort? Or mostly in the parks? Not worth spending an extra $600 for a room you'll only see in your sleep. Planning on spending a lot of time at DTD? The boat from POR is convenient. Planning...

The Disney Store seems to be going the way of the Warner Brothers store...CLOSED!! Its unfortunate, but I think they did themselves in in many locations by no longer selling adult clothing and becoming a stinking toy store!!! I can get toys anywhere, but I certainly can't get a Mickey shirt...
