Rumor has it that the island is polluted by massive amounts of bird droppings making it unusable for the time being. I don't think I buy that as they have company functions out there occasionally. I like the honeymoon cottage idea as well as the rumored Hundred Acre Woods attraction.

Well, the fire was put out quickly, the passengers were kept in safety, and the cruise was able to continue with no delay before the next cruise began. Disney handled this very professionally. For a fire at sea, I don't think this could have turned out any better.

I don't know how accurate the rumors are, but it's been said for quite a while that the reason the Venitian was never built is the unstable nature of the soil in that area. I'm not sure I buy that; if they can build the MK on top of the utilidors, they should be able to make a stable foundation...

It's been my experience that even the posted hours are subject to change. We go in May every year and every year the MK has extended hours over what was published. I think it's determined by the number of resort guests they have at the time. Perhaps since 9/11, more folks have been taking...
