    Journey into Your Imagination

It was that bad. I spent the entire ride wondering why anyone thought this was better than the original attraction then with no warning, had my eyes assaulted by Xenon strobes at the end. I never complain but went straight to guest services and wrote about a page. It was that bad.

    The Board Walk

I'm a DVC member and Boardwalk Villas is my home resort. I can't tell you how cool it is to be able to walk out of Epcot or MGM and either walk or take a boat home. Then, once we're there we have so much to do. My favorite thing is to grab a beer from the Screendoor or Spoodles, sit out by...

    Where to go first night?

Epcot is usually the fastest place to activate your AP's. Although, being from Texas I can't recommend San Angel's. We don't think it's as good as the hole-in-the-wall place down the street from our house... :)

    Best dessert in WDW?

I'll have to go with the Viking Ship at Akershus in Norway. It's a Viking ship made from two kinds of chocolate and cake.

    fastpass question

You used to be able to do this. You could also use your WDW room key even if it didn't have a pass attached to it. These loopholes have been fixed. Only an active park pass will work...

    Disney Music at Six Flags!?!?

So, following your reasoning Disney shouldn't play all that 1890's style music on Main Street? They didn't write it. Some of it even comes from Rogers and Hammerstein musicals from the 50's and 60's which are still under copyright.

    refillable mugs

The official line is that mugs are good for as long as you own them at the resort in which they were purchased. (any AS mug can be used at any AS). CM's will usually not stop a person from filling up whatever they want but that doesn't make it right.

    Disney Music at Six Flags!?!?

This would not avoid legal issues. Changing a note or two here and there does not affect the copyright. In fact, aritsts have been sued over a phrase as short as 6 notes being similar to another song. The royalties are paid through BMI or ASCAP.

    Disney Music at Six Flags!?!?

I would assume that Six Flags pays royalties to BMI and ASCAP and therefore are able to play any music licensed by these two companies. Don't worry, Disney's getting paid and what better way to make people wish they were at WDW rather than Six Flags

River Country is Not opening in 2002

I know that the townhomes are being either remodeled or torn down and will be added as a DVC resort. I don't know about the Treehouses...

    Annual Pass ID question

You'll probably be asked to show a drivers license and your kids are probably fine with no ID at all as long as they're with you. Your AP will not have your picture on it. It uses a biometric ID. Your index and middle fingers will be scanned and that scan will be attached to your name in the...

    Dolphin Resort

My wife got a pedicure for $65  so I don't think you're getting anything for $5 except a paper and access to the club. :)

    Strike Looming

How many Disney employees would need to cross S/D picket lines in the course of their regular duties? I don't think this is a big deal... FL is also a "right to work" state. I'm sure there are plenty of non-union trucking companies that would be happy to deliver...

    Letter to WDW

This is the only problem I have had with WDW Transportation. I'm glad to see it's being addressed. As for the future, I think the logical progression is light rail. Properly themed, it could be almost as fun as the monorail, move just as many people, and is much cheaper to construct.

River Country is Not opening in 2002

One of the most persistant rumors was that it would become the main pool at FW and be on the list of pools that DVC members could pool hop to, hopefully easing some of the congestion at Stormalong Bay. It could happen, but I'm not holding my breath...

    Grosvenor Resort??

Remember, rooms at this rate are very limited and are extremely hard to come by during busy seasons.

The S/D also have their own jogging trails on their side of the canal. It may be less crowded than running on the Boardwalk and through the Stormalong Bay area...

If I'm not mistaken, the same type of fishing excursion runs from the WL as well.

need transport. for early morn.trail ride

Disney does not run it's own taxi service but there are taxis that run within WDW. You can get from anywhere in the world to anywhere in the world for about $10 or less. We've done this on occasion when we didn't want to wait for a bus. Let me tell you, when it's late and you're tired and you...
