Travel between the Poly and Wilderness Lodge

For sheer enjoyment, I'd go with taking the monorail (or boat) from the Poly to MK and then going over to the boat dock to take the boat directly to WL.

Who suffer from depression after coming back from WDW ? :(

It's a very hard crash from the high of anticipating the WDW trip coming up......to the euphoria of being there on the trip. Then, when it's over, it's all :arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh:. And it's now been little over 3 years since my last WDW trip......with no new trip in sight.

CBR Bus transportation ... how bad is it really??

Yes, the bus system at CBR is pretty bad. It's probably one of the main reasons why I won't stay there or at any other resort that also has an internal bus system again. It can be absolutely horrible whether leaving or returning to your resort after a busy day. Having an internal bus system...

If you could make your own WDW commercial

I think a commercial should focus ultimately on the fun (the variety and quantity) to be found in a WDW vacation. It would highlight the parks and the top rides in each park; it would highlight the variety in the very cool-themed resorts; it would show off a variety of the dining to be found...

    Resort buses

I think there's a couple of ways to discuss Disney buses. One of them would be the vehicles themselves. They provide adequate "point A to point B" transportation even if they aren't the fastest moving and the seats aren't the most comfortable. (Come on Disney, at least pad the seats!) Another...

You Know You Go To Disney Too Much When...

.....the only spanish you know is "por favor manténgase alejado de las puertas". .....an inside joke in the family is whether or not someone believes in "the promise of tomorrow". .....you eat a particular dish and think to yourself "it's not as good as at 'Roaring Forks' (or some other dining...

    What you think WDW needs?

Had to go with "faster construction" as these large-scope projects take YEARS to go from announcement to opening......and it's just a long time to wait. Other things I think they need: (1) New entertainment offerings available NOW to counter the increasing ticket prices. If they're going to...

    The Martian

Finally caught "The Martian" last night. Basically what we have is a retread of the Tom Hanks film "Cast Away" except set on an entirely different planet. Now if you're the sort who liked "Cast Away" (and I'm a big fan of that film), then you'll likely enjoy "The Martian" as well........which I...

    The Force Awakens

Underwhelmed a bit by this new and - final - trailer, but only because it's still so guarded that the bits they did give us was like a few flecks of crumbs off a snickers bar. I WANT MORE....DADGUMMIT! Love the shots of the snow world battle between the tie-fighters and x-wings. Love seeing more...

    What Haven't You Eaten??

I love turkey (white meat only), but I see nothing appealing in eating or chewing on something that looks like it was freshly ripped off a turkey's carcass.

Director Brad Bird Looks Back at Tomorrowland

I just finished watching "Tomorrowland" after renting it from Redbox. On the plus side, it had some fantastic visual effects and WDW call-backs to Space Mtn and "Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow". It also even had moments - here and there - of real wonder and interesting plot points. But on the...

    What Haven't You Eaten??

I've never eaten a turkey leg......and never will. Just seeing people walking around with those things, it makes me sick. I've also never eaten anything from the Brown Derby - I'm not a fan of anything on their menu. I've heard ravings about dole whips and strawberry swirls. I've had a dole whip...

What are some of the best uses for dining plan snack credits?

I prefer to use it on something more than an ice cream bar or a cookie somewhere. I usually use it for an ice cream float (coke or root beer) which I can get in every park.

What KIND of attraction do you enjoy best?

It's not generous at all. It's a good thing that not everyone defines "big thrill" in the same way. EE and Space Mtn are definitely thrill rides, as are the others mentioned. None may be as consistent as say, the Hulk Coaster at IoA, but they have enough to them to be thrilling to some people...

Has 50s Prime Time Been Tamed?

Oh.....well actually I did not enjoy it, in part, because no one there was in character or made any effort, plus the food wasn't good.

Has 50s Prime Time Been Tamed?

Would you if you expected the people there to be in character and they weren't?

connect the Animal Kingdom by monorail

All 4 parks SHOULD be connected by monorail, but none of us will see that happen in our lifetimes.

Has 50s Prime Time Been Tamed?

I've eaten there just once, and that was enough. Not one person was playing any kind of part, and we had a normal sit down restaurant kind of experience. On top of that, the food wasn't very good. Could just be another example of the erosion of Disney standards.
