I love getting mail from Disney. Just got a special pin code in today's mail....... 30% off 5 Day MagicYour Way Package and free Park Hopper upgrade. Book by 6/12 and travel 6/1-8/27. I start to dream of another trip when this happens. Not sure what I will do but I have time to think about...

    Salmon.. the yummy fish.

I had Seared Salmon Filet - with Quinoa, salsa verde and crisp vegetable slaw at The Coral Cafe....it was excellent. My granddaughter who was 20 months at the time also had salmon....Grilled Fish of the Day - with Jasmine Rice, Steamed Green Beans, Lemon-Butter Sauce, and Fruit Salad. She...

    best epcot dining?

Try Teppan Edo...... very entertaining and very good food! I just felt a bit rushed at times. You also get to sit with other Disney guests because the fill the tables. :cat:

    Vote - Favourite Deluxe Resort

The Contemporary Report is my absolute favorite. For me, it feels like Disney World. I love stepping off the monorail after a long day at the MK and being "home".....no long walk to my room.... an escalator or 2 and I am home...indoors. It is like being dropped off right at your doorstep. I...

Name the things you MUST do every time you go to WDW??

    1. SSE is always the first and last ride in Epcot 2. Breakfast at The Kona Cafe 3. Explore the monorail resorts 4. Carousel of Progress.....I know....:cat:

the world at 32 weeks pregnant?

First of all Congratulations......love babies!!! It is very hot and humid in Disneyworld in September so heed the advise above and stay hydrated. Drink water even when you don't feel thirsty. And take it slow....with frequent breaks to put your feet up. The crowds are low at that time but not...

Talk my wife down from the ledge...

First of all....I am quite jealous! We brought my granddaughter in November when she was 20 months old and we had an absolutely magical time. Now that being said....all of the above advise is very good. You are staying at one of the most convenient resorts for visiting with...

    VISA Disney Rewards Dollars

Yes @brifraz ...we spent a lot of $$$$ in order to get those Disney Points but we put all our household bills on our Disney Visa so we justify it that way. :cat:

    VISA Disney Rewards Dollars

When we get to our resort, we usually put our Visa Points Card in the hotel room safe and while we are in the park, we charge everything to our room. The night before we check out, we go to the front desk and pay for any charges with the Disney Dollars/Points. Have a Magical Trip! :cat:

    First Stay at Deluxe

With 5 year old twins, I think that your best choice is The CR and if it is in your budget, choose a tower room with a MK view. The kids, and you, will love it. You will also be walking distance to the MK where you will probably spend most of your time. You also have the convenience of...

    DHS to Contemporary Resort

How old are the kids? That would probably determine your plans more than anything else. As stated above, I would stick with Disney transportation. Not sure about the laws around car seats/taxi's and little ones. That is why Disney transportation is probably the way to go. :cat:

How do I make sure I don't get a bunk bed room?

My recommendation would be to call the hotel directly about 3 days before arrival and state your concerns. When my husband and I went in September 2013, we stayed at The WL and stated our preference on our reservations we requested, 1. A room overlooking the lobby 2. A pool view and 3. a king...

    Touring Animal Kingdom

The AK is a huge park and it looks like you will be all over the park. In my opinion, your itinerary is quite ambitious. You also have to figure in the timing of the 2 shows....Nemo and Lion King. I would imagine that in July, you will find very long lines at Everest. The Safari is also a...

Cirque du Soleil La Nouba Tickets

You will be very happy with your purchase. We were there in November and sat in Section 204 Row cc Seats 1&2. By mistake, my husband and I sat the wrong seats before the show started. Once we realized our mistake, we got up and took the seats that we purchased. The more expensive seats have...

Elderly Parents....what to do outside of parks?

Raglan Road is not only noisy, but it is dark and the tables are very close and crowded. It is also a very long walk from the parking lot....not sure if they will be walking. I would think that The Grand Floridian Cafe would be a great place to eat.....bright and cheery and you can drop them...

    Disney in September

We were this is September 2013. Crowds were light during the week and very heavy on the weekend, especially in the MK. That being said....I think that September is the hottest and most humid month in Disney and I have been there in June, July and August. We went in September because people...

A few questions for a first trip

If you want a "down day", take advantage and explore the other resorts. So the monorail loop.....The Polynesian, The Grand Floridian and The Contemporary. They all have their own style and charm. Go to Down Town Disney and explore there....another good idea for a day away from the parks. Or...

    Boardwalk Inn or Contemporary Resort?

I agree 100% with @StarWarsGirl95. The Contemporary has been my favorite since I took my kids there in the 80's. Since then I tried the WL, Port Orleans (When it was Dixie Landings), Shades of Green, The Poly and off property. Nothing beats hopping the monorail to visit or eat at the other...
