    Just received Magic Bands

We just received our Magic Bands for our March Trip to Disney.....YIPEE! Do we have have to do anything with them? All of our ADR's and FP's are linked to MDE. Am I correct that all we have to do is pack them in our carry on luggage and put them on when we arrive on March 5? :cat:

    Change Transportation

We are visiting Disney in March and our original plans were to fly into and out of MCO. Now we decided to extend our trip to include a stay in West Palm Beach so we will be flying home from PBI. I already have our original flights registered for DME..... We will still be flying into MCO so we...

We will be in Disney in March and plan to visit family in West Palm Beach after our stay. Will we be able to arrange a car rental at the concierge desk at The Beach Club and return it to The airport in West Pam Beach? Thanks for your answers. :cat:

    Tell me about September...

I have gone twice in September and both times it was HOT HOT HOT and HUMID HUMID HUMID....I mean dripping wet HUMID. The crowds during the week are low but they are higher on the weekend especially at The MK. Lines were manageable and some rides were a walk on. I would still recommend Fast...

Just booked first trip with child!!

First of all.....you are in for a wonderful trip. You will see Disney through the eyes of your 3 year old and that is an experience like no other. Your job as a parent is to plan the "outline" of the trip and let your child fill in the rest. Use your fast passes and dinner reservations as the...

Best rides for my pregnant wife...

We went to Disney last November when my daughter was 4 months pregnant. She went on all the rides including Safari 2 times. I must say that I was not thrilled with her decision since it was especially bumpy but she is an adult and makes her own decisions. Not sure I would do The 7 Dwarfs...

Best time to go in September

We have visited 2X in September around the 9th-15th. The MK is always quite crowded on the weekend and less crowded during the week. Visiting the other parks on the weekend worked for us. September is very hot and extremely humid...just something to keep in mind. Good luck and have a Magical...

What Disney character would be perfect for young children to meet during their first trip to WDW?

At 21 months, my granddaughter loved any character that looked like a big stuffed animal....Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Chip and Dale etc. She was not too sure about the more "human" characters like Alice, the Princesses etc. Not sure what it was....maybe the make-up. Anyway....enjoy and let...

Top Fast Pass Attractions for 4 yr old?

Hey @Ms.Sunshine .... we will be at Disney at the same time but we arrive on the 5th and leave on the 10th. We went last November with our granddaughter and saw no need to visit Disney Studios. There was enough to keep her busy with the MK, AK and Epcot. I agree with the advise above....Anna...

    Pre-Trip First Family Trip (March 3-10 2016)

I cannot give you any advise for questions 1 and 2 since I have never needed the "kid swap" and I have never been to Disney during March. We will however be there March 5-10 next year. So I will be watching to see what answers you get about the crowd question. We did bring our granddaughter...

    Early March 2016 Crowds

We will be there from March 5-10 and I am preparing for crowds. This is also our first trip in March. I am hoping for more temperate weather compared to June-September. Have a Magical Trip! :cat:

    Which Deluxe Resort to choose?

In my opinion, the Contemporary is "magical" for a 4 year old. The sound and sight of the monorail whizzing through the Grand Concourse just adds to the anticipation of seeing Mickey and Mini. Walking to and from the MK is also a great perk. We took our kids when they were 3 and 5 and we...

    95 Baltimore and DC area

We drive from Rhode Island to Maryland once a month to visit grandchildren and we never have any traffic in the Baltimore area on a Saturday or Sunday morning or any other time of the day. Not sure where your trip is starting, but the most traffic we find any time of the day or night, any day...

First time on Property and at the Contemporary

The Contemporary is "MAGICAL" for young children. It is the first resort we stayed at when my kids were 3 and 5 and that was in 1987. As a family we have returned any times and as empty nesters, it is my husbands and my resort of choice. Just watching the monorail "whizz" above the grand...
