I think more people want Splash to return in some shape or form than those that are happy it's gone. Personally, I'd LOVE for it to return but what's done is done and Disney is never going to walk back on their decision.

The best animatronics on the ride are the A-1000s for Tiana, Louis, and Mama Odie. God, a Facilier A-1000 would be peak.

Ok than explain all of the animals that appear in Tiana's playing instruments. The geese that were in Splash Mountain were our first taste at the animated world that resided inside the show building and they were greeting us as our log dropped in.

Oh no OLC is 100% aware of the backlash that'd erupt from them bending the knee to the west and removing something that isn't even considered a problem in Japan. Song of the South's controversial history doesn't matter to a country that's so far removed from those issues.

Obviously, but people come to Disney parks for immersive storytelling, thrilling rides, and high quality animatronics. TBA only has one of those three points.

The only animatronics in TBA that look remotely good are the A-1000s. The critters that rock back and fourth serve their purpose but are not nearly as impressive nor visually interesting as the "old 1970s relics". I honestly prefer older animatronics to their more advanced counterparts, like...
