Then and Now - WDW Comparison Photos

I like both. I mean, the new changes were needed to accommodate growing crowds. While I somewhat prefer the older setup, I still like the new one. Still conflicted on which lights on the castle I prefer, both look nice, so either way I like it. Really, it would take a lot to ruin the Main Street...

News Disney Not Renewing Great Movie Ride Sponsorship Deal with TCM ; Attraction to Close

Oh I just ignore them. X-Men: Apocalypse got bad reviews and I liked it, same goes for Batman vs. Superman. Deadpool had really good reviews and I didn't care much for it (it was funny, but none of the lines or scenes were memorable, it was all just sort of one liners but not substance). Then I...

News Disney Not Renewing Great Movie Ride Sponsorship Deal with TCM ; Attraction to Close

That's my concern (though, I didn't like it at all as a movie). I'm sort of surprised they abandoned the original idea of having mythical creatures. I mean, they're timeless. Dragons have been part of mythology for a very long time (just as one example) and still are wildly popular today (Game...

News Disney Not Renewing Great Movie Ride Sponsorship Deal with TCM ; Attraction to Close

I mean, some of them took on the classics, like in New Fantasyland, and I think they did a really good job respecting the source material there. I can't resist some over-the-top melodrama, plus I prefer their main characters to Marvel. I keep forgetting they have so many Avatar movies planned...

News Disney Not Renewing Great Movie Ride Sponsorship Deal with TCM ; Attraction to Close

I mean, some of them took on the classics, like in New Fantasyland, and I think they did a really good job respecting the source material there. Fair enough, though the Muppets I would debate are kind of out of the public eye. I know they try to make them relevant, but they're really not too...

News Disney Not Renewing Great Movie Ride Sponsorship Deal with TCM ; Attraction to Close

That's my problem, Avatar is already out of fashion. Star Wars and Toy Story do have staying power. Though, I question Marvel mainly because there are so many super hero movies (though, I am a little biased, I much prefer the latest DC movies to a lot of the Disney Marvel ones, I know, an...

News Disney Not Renewing Great Movie Ride Sponsorship Deal with TCM ; Attraction to Close

It's like they said "oh, Star Wars is popular again" and "Toy Story is pretty popular," yeah, that's good, now let's make giant areas of them and get rid of everything else. Honestly, I went there many times as a teenager and enjoyed the movie aspect of it. Granted, I also really like movies and...

News Disney Not Renewing Great Movie Ride Sponsorship Deal with TCM ; Attraction to Close

That would be absolutely awful if true. I mean, if they just want it to be a giant promotion park for their newest/popular movies then so be it, but it really ruins the purpose of the park. What happened to the celebration of all movies? There's more to movies than Star Wars and Toy Story...

Imagine if there were no iPhones or iPads inside Disney attractions

Oh no doubt, that sort of stuff happens all the time (especially with driving, as you noted, which is a little odd considering how simple the fundamentals of driving are, especially with most cars have automatic transmissions). But it seems there are people who just don't care. But luckily I...

Imagine if there were no iPhones or iPads inside Disney attractions

Just follow the rules. Don't use flash where it says not to and if it says no recording, well don't (though, flash is the most annoying, granted, really funny when you see people try to take pictures of the castle or even the moon with the flash on, as if, in some way, the flash can reach the moon).

Then and Now - WDW Comparison Photos

I actually like both of them, so no complaints from me. Though, looking at how many more people are there in the second picture, they really did have to do some redesign to figure out how to accommodate the growing crowds. It's kind of strange at first, but this is something that's not so hard...

Since osborne lights is no longer.....

Would be kind of cool to have them in Future World, scattered throughout.

We Need EPCOT Center Now More Than Ever!

They already do something like that in the Magic Kingdom having to go from place to place (the interactive screens, not sure what they are called). It would actually be kind of cool, then multi-task, get that and Pokemon going at once (while I don't see the point of the Pokemon game since there...

We Need EPCOT Center Now More Than Ever!

You sound, well, a little old fashioned. There have always been relatively useless things people have consumed their time with, but that's because sometimes you just need to relax. People have been taking pictures for years, I'd say decades. I also don't think kids hate anything that has to do...

    Results of horrible weather

The worst rain we had was in Hollywood Studios last year while waiting for Fantasmic. It was overcast the whole time, then as we were waiting, started to rain. Then it turned to a downpour. They kept saying the show would go on, as we all waited in the rain. Then eventually, the rain got so bad...

    Has EPCOT failed?

Future World needs some hardcore work done to bring it back to life (so many either empty areas or areas that barely get anybody going to them). It's a giant area that feels very barren and kind of strange having so much empty space. They really need to work on Innoventions. To me, that is the...

Has Rivers of Light been permantly scrapped?

I hope they get it up and running. But a lot of things have rough launches (kind of like how buying new electronics at launch is risky or how most video games get a stream of patches the week they are released), so I'm hoping this is something they can work out, at least before I go in December.

Am I the only one who doesn't like how all the current lands being built each focus on 1 franchise?

Star Wars can be its own land because it is such an expansive universe (or galaxy to keep the theme) they created across multiple forms of media. Though, Toy Story Land would have been nice as a full Pixar Land. Avatar, well, yeah, I still like the original idea of fantasy creatures, which is...

    People trashing the parks

No, I just think it's rude people. They are everywhere, and the kids learn it from the parents. I mean, I don't really know anyone who would just throw their trash on the ground (except one person who decided because we were in a city it was ok to throw trash on the ground, whereupon me and...

    A critical look at Epcot

Imagination can get an Inside Out remake. I don't want a crazy thrill ride, mainly because I just don't like them. Innoventions has potential, don't make it a giant gift shop/meet and greet, they can actually do something with it to make it relevant again. Possibly get a bunch of sponsors to...
