Does anyone prefer Mission: Space to Horizons?

EDIT: Not again. Twice in a week I have accidentally replied to an old thread that was brought back from out of nowhere. I can't stand Mission Space (I get motion sickness, so it's a no go for me, even on the basic version, made that mistake once). While I was never on Horizons (not sure why...

Does anyone ever get startled by the monorail?

So nice to see the entrance of EPCOT without the monoliths. The gardens, while nothing crazy here, were at least inviting (and I'm sure now they'd have elaborate flower displays in them).

    Epcot Needs HELP

It's Future World that is in a mess more than anything. Here's an abridged version of why Future World is a mess. Ellen's Energy thing is a waste. Yes, it may have some faithful fans, but I barely see anybody ever go in there. Wonders of Life is sort of tucked away but it's still depressing...

    Beginning Of MK/Epcot/DHS Decline?

Magic Kingdom, at least to me, hasn't had any notable declines. I mean, the noodle station thing between Mainstreet and Tomorrowland that is closed most of the time is kind of depressing, but other than that, I'm happy with the state of MK. EPCOT I won't get into again (I've let my opinions on...

    drinking water?

Yeah, I've seen that too, which is a shame, but not overly surprising, which is probably what makes it a shame.

Bay Lake & Seven Seas Lagoon Swimming??

EDIT: Just realized this post was from 2002, talk about bringing something back, I'd assume this would have just turned into a new thread topic by now. I am inclined to agree with you on this one. Especially now that the pools have the easy access where you can walk in like a lake or the ocean...

Just curious when people like to get to the parks

I could not imagine being at the parks at opening, but I'm also not at all a morning person. I much prefer taking advantage of the extra hours and staying later. Though, I also sometimes like going back to the room during the day to take a rest for the second half. I figure, if I'm on vacation...

    drinking water?

I think you can get free water most anywhere in the country. Or I could be completely wrong on that, but I believe it is some sort of legal thing that water can't be denied. Though, I have also seen people take advantage of that (such as putting sprite in a cup with a lid on it then saying it's...

Forbidden Mountain in The Good Dinosaur

I thought the characters looked good. It didn't seem like they wanted photo realistic characters and they seemed to mesh well with the scenery. But regardless of personal taste, I still wouldn't call the animation subpar.

PHOTOS - Exterior refurbishment underway at Disney's BoardWalk Inn

It's a shame how much they closed at once, but I guess they figure it's better to do it all at once. That's the con of having a full resort/theme park open all year. We ended up moving over to the Wilderness Lodge when the Polynesian was getting some big construction work and now the Wilderness...

Forbidden Mountain in The Good Dinosaur

I think that may have to be partially due to both Inside Out being the big one last year and the fact that it had very little advertising, which was odd considering dinosaur hype is up with Jurassic World doing so well (I know they're different companies, but companies always try to ride off the...

Forbidden Mountain in The Good Dinosaur

I found it entertaining and not that violent. I mean, a few kids weren't exactly happy during some of the sadder scenes, but The Land Before Time basically kicks things off with a similar sad scene and I survived. I actually was pleasantly surprised by the movie. It got all the emotional...

    The single rider line

We do single rider for Test Track but don't expect to sit together (though, sometimes I've seen a group of two get to sit together from the single rider line). But really, when you're on a ride, it doesn't matter so much if you sit with random people, especially in Disney, everyone is there to...

Why is Disney getting rid of the little things?

Oh, I didn't realize it was for higher capacity times. Still, it was pretty neat. But yeah, if it's not there the rest of the time then they should add something else. Side note, I also found out during Christmas time, they take out the bench with Goofy on it in the front near Tony's, which was...

Why is Disney getting rid of the little things?

I did some digging here to see what's going on. It seems that while it's not the actual saying, it does still work, though, it would work as a more extreme version of the actual saying. And apparently it's also an "eggcorn," so it can probably also count as a more slang type way of saying it...

Why is Disney getting rid of the little things?

Oh no problem, though, I believe both are acceptable variations.

    Transportation wait time boards

I know what it is, but it gets slightly annoying. I'd rather have it be like the ride wait times and be in 5/10 min increments. But like I sad, it's nice to have it as an approximate time, that way you know if you just missed the bus.

Why is Disney getting rid of the little things?

Yeah, it seemed like it fit, though, I acknowledge it's not exactly commonly used.

    Transportation wait time boards

The one at Wilderness Lodge was kind of annoying, but that's because they kept pushing times back by small increments instead of one larger/medium size one. But it is nice to have them for an approximate time.

Why is Disney getting rid of the little things?

Yeah, I was thinking that when I wrote it too. But for all intensive purposes, the romanticized pirates enough in the movie that I think it fits, especially since, at least Captain Jack in the movies is going on quests to find treasures or mythical items, so he's never really portrayed as being...
