A lot of this forum has largely been unimpressed with Smugglers Run and Galaxy's Edge overall. I don't mind that as I understand a majority of users here share the sentiment of missing the older style of Disney Imagineering. Still I am genuinely curious what the consensus with the general public is.

OLC considered making a third park, but all they had to work with is the land where Fantasy Springs is going to be, which they realized was not enough. I don't believe there are any plans for third park, and even if there were I'm not sure if there is any space for it.

It seems that a lot of people are glossing over the fact this was probably done with the international parks in mind. This is a smart promotional move for Tokyo and Paris, and with the scene already created there's no good reason not to bring it over here as well.

I can't think of any other example where Disney tried to cram a land into such little space. Spider-Man barely takes up any room, it's almost comparable to Mater's next door. It will be very interesting to see how this all pans out

On the contrary, I feel that without Peter Pan the new land would be overly dominated by princess properties. Peter Pan is both a beloved and classic film, and honestly the most exciting part of the expansion for me at least.

Say what you will about Bugs Land, but it served its purpose well as an area that toddlers and younger children could enjoy. I feel like removing 4 attractions in place of a ride that is eerily similar to something already in the park is a step back, but that's just me.

The big issue here isn't entirely the quality of the ride, but rather the similarities to TSMM right nearby. DCA desperately needs good new attractions to level itself with Disneyland, and the decision to clone a ride in the same park feels like 1 step forward, 2 steps back.
