AoA still had clocks in the Little Mermaid rooms at the end of February 2016.

One Week May Be Too Long

After out last trip just a few weeks ago I have to agree with you. We did 8 days, 7 nights but only 6 days of tickets with the park hopper. We found the parks busier then our last two trips and had a harder time navigating that. We had a rest morning on the Friday during our trip and really...

    How much do you usually...

I do $2.00 per person per day so for us that is $4.00 a day. I create envelops ahead of time with the money in it, use Disney stickers and write a quick thank you. I only put them out if I think the Mousekeeper is doing a good job which in all three trips we have been on they have. We really...

Chances of test track FP day of?

I tried to get a FP+ for Test Track on our last day in the park during our trip last week and it was never available. The single rider line only had a 10 minute wait while the standby line was 60 minutes. I would suggest single rider if you can't get a FP+.

    AoA vs POP: Your preference?

I considered staying at Pop for my trip last week but ultimately changed to AoA. It was our third time staying at AoA and we just love it there. The theme really puts you in a Disney mood from the minute you step on property. I love the food court and the overall atmosphere. I do wish it was...

Everyone's Best and Worst Dining Experiences?

I had the lobster roll at Columbia Harbor House in 2014 and it was mostly mayo. A true lobster roll should only have a little bit of mayo, the lobster is the main focus. I am from New England so I know a great lobster roll and that lobster roll was the worst thing I have had in a long time...

Everyone's Best and Worst Dining Experiences?

Best: Tokyo Dining(Japan Pavilion in Epcot), The Boathouse(Disney Springs), Landscapes of Flavor(Art of Animation food court), Boulangerie Paitisserie les Halles(France Pavilion in Epcot), Sunshine Seasons(The Land in Epcot) and Be Our Guest Dinner(Magic Kingdom) Worst: Columbia Harbor...

With the Price Increases and Cuts, Are you Delaying your Visit?

I have been to WDW in 2014, 2015 and 2016. We want to go to Disneyland and explore California in 2017, not sure that will happen but it is the dream. I don't think we will head back to WDW until all of the construction is complete. We "might" take a trip to Universal at some point because I...

    Art of Animation

My daughter and I have stayed at AoA in the Little Mermaid section in 2014 and 2015. We will be heading back to WDW in 7 days and staying there again. We just love this resort. You should request to be in building 7 (by the lake) or building 9 (near the Lion King section and near the parking...

I am loving your trip report. Your photos are breathtaking. I can't wait to read and see more of your trip. It is getting me excited as we leave for WDW in 11 days!

What's your favorite time of day at WDW?

Morning is my favorite time of day at WDW. I am an early riser anyway. I love getting ready and then walking to the resort food court early in the morning before a lot of the guests are up to get something to drink and pick up breakfast. It is so peaceful walking around the resort in the...

Just curious when people like to get to the parks

The first few days we make sure to get to the parks before rope drop. We love the welcome show at Magic Kingdom and never miss it. We do not schedule any breakfast ADR's because we like the Mickey Waffles and fruit kids meal at the resort. Then we usually get some kind of snack to share at...

Your Favorite Dishes at these ADRs?

Be Our Guest for dinner is the only one I have been to on your list. My daughter and I both got the steak and I had the potato leek soup. Both were delicious. We also had the Strawberry Cupcake which was great. My photos are very dark because it was so dark in the restaurant but here they are...

I tear up every time I see the castle when we first walk up main street in MK.

    Favourite World Showcase Attraction

I picked Impressions De France. We stopped into this attraction on our last trip and really enjoyed it. It was just beautiful and very relaxing.

    Only One Day...Pick A Park...

Hands down my daughter would pick Epcot. It is her favorite park. She could spend the entire day just walking around the countries, watching the shows, shopping, trying the food, going to club cool, riding Spaceship Earth and Living with the Land, watching Illuminations, etc. She loves Epcot...

    Favorite non-park thing to do

Exploring Disney Springs and resort hopping are our favorite non park things to do. We had the best time exploring The Grand Floridian, Beach Club, Boardwalk, Yacht Club and Pop Century last year.
