Wow, this is so juicy.

My biggest quip with the fireworks show is them including very "happy" Disney songs in it. Like why are they playing someday my prince will come in a halloween show? They made this show way too child-ish.

Do they really think this bring a friend deal is gonna bring in hoards of people? People are already paying premium prices, are they gonna shell out another $100 just to visit GE?

Just some late thoughts... I was a pretty-big fan of the original (I thought it was unique, suited AK and conveyed itself without IP). Once they took the performers away, it was never the same. The magic of the original was gone - the way the performers interacted with the shadows and the sails...

Mark Renfrow did the original (as well as Donald's Dino Bash). The show director based off the Parks Blog video for "We Are One" is James Silson.

If you ask nicely, they may just upgrade you. In December we booked a standard view, and just asked politely what the added cost would be for a savannah view, and they moved us to a savannah room without cost!

Thoughts: I thought this was going to feel like a very temporary show, and it doesn’t look at all like that and I am so excited for it now! Those kite things look so fun! Also, Don Harper is doing the music for it, who also did Rivers of Light (!) so like here’s to another great soundtrack!

Opening early may be good for us fans, but you'd think Disney would want to monetize this process as much as possible.

Does anyone have an idea when or if they'll announce paid preview parties or DVC/AP previews?

I'm all for new entertainment, but I wish previously cut things would be reinstated before we get new stuff. They don't want the performers back in Rivers of Light, but yet we are getting a new show with five(?) performers.

Oh my goodness! Disney released a soundtrack for Pandora, including the Flight of Passage and Na'vi River Journey tracks. So amazing! Wish they would do this more often! LINK:

It was a very last minute trip, we booked it a week in advance I think. We used the hotel canary tool, which said it would be Yacht Club, but it was Jambo House.

We booked an express deal and luckily got Jambo House for $187 a night, but it was such a hassle to add people to the reservation. I went back and forth between Disney and Priceline both telling me to contact the other company. I eventually talked to someone at Disney Wholesale who did it for me...
