From the OS: Gator drags child into Seven Seas Lagoon

Disney World is built in the middle of an alligator habit and you think it's acceptable to kill all the alligators that live there?? How about humans just use some common sense instead. Stay out of the water.

From the OS: Gator drags child into Seven Seas Lagoon

Sorry for the late post, but I was sleeping during most of this thread! Placing blame on Disney seems kind of ridiculous, in my opinion. Disney World is in Florida and alligators exist in Florida. A lot of them. To think that they're to blame for not preventing alligators from being in a fresh...

From the OS: Gator drags child into Seven Seas Lagoon

Obviously no one knows for sure right now, but I have a really hard time believing an alligator walked up into a crowd of people watching a movie to grab a baby. There must be more to the story.

    Volcano Bay

This thread just got dragged out again and I'm wondering when this is supposed to change in a big way? A year later they still close at 7 or 8 most days.

Skull Island: Reign of Kong from construction to opening

There are things I don't like about Disney too, but this happens to be a thread about a ride at Universal.

Skull Island: Reign of Kong from construction to opening

Why do you keep comparing rides that use some screens as a component in addition to tons of physical sets with simulation rides? They are not the same thing at all.

Can they make a ride without screens?

Sometimes it's okay to keep the "80 year old robots." I'd rather have a variety than all "innovative" simulation rides and I know I'm not the only one. It seems like there are a lot of people who are upset that Universal got rid of a lot of their older attractions (Jaws and Twister, for...

Can they make a ride without screens?

I have an annual pass to Universal. I don't hate it, but I do wish they'd add some variety.

Can they make a ride without screens?

Personally, I find the overuse of screens to be the opposite of immersive. I can get a similar experience by going to a movie theater (and have a much smaller chance of puking). If simulators and giant screens is the LATEST advance and the future of rides, I can definitely see my attendance...

Skull Island: Reign of Kong from construction to opening

You do realize this is the internet, right?

Can they make a ride without screens?

You having a bad day? I'm not just comparing screens vs. animatronics. (Did you really just compare the dwarves faces with a simulator?) Disney has way more non-simulation rides than Universal. It's not even a contest. Even still, of the new attractions in New Fantasyland, none are...

Skull Island: Reign of Kong from construction to opening

YES! This so much!! I get sick with screens/simulators too and this is so disappointing! Ellen's Energy Adventure comes immediately to mind and that ride is OLD but the environment they created is incredible. To watch it on a screen is just boring, in my opinion. I could do that by watching the...

Can they make a ride without screens?

I've always gotten sick on simulators, ever since I was a kid. Because of this, there's not a whole lot I can do at Universal Studios since most of their rides are at least partially simulations. This is one of the reasons I LOVE Disney! I can do almost everything there and I just skip the...

    New DVC Lounge Epcot

Yeah, we didn't look. Apparently a lot of people didn't look because there were a lot of irritated people. It does seem weird to close it at 6 when the sun doesn't go down until after 8. :/

    New DVC Lounge Epcot

Head's up! It's only open until 6pm. We went after work the other night, got there at 6:30, and it was closed.

Why do people defend Disney's snack prices...

PS: Water is actually free at Disney. Just go up to any location with fountain drinks and ask for a cup of water.

Why do people defend Disney's snack prices...

    Because they're delicious.

Thoughts from my recent visit to the World

So your bed was covered in poop stains and you slept in it anyway instead of just asking to be moved to another room?? I can't think of a time of the day or night I'd sleep on poop.
