    United Air lines

I've flown United many times over the last few years and yes changes do happen a couple of times if you book 6 months or more out. The advantage I've found is I can then change that cheap flight with inconvenient times to a better situation. During the time between booking and the flight I keep...

    United Air lines

Out of a large airport, probably no gate check will be required. I've flown United many times and it's nothing special and will get you there. Don't expect any extras such as Southwest's deal with Dish to view tv during the flight.

How late does the Magic Express run?

Yes they run as long as plans are coming into Orlando, but do not put on the baggage tags that Disney sends or your luggage won't show up until the next day. Pick up your luggage at the carousel and then on side B is the Magical Express buses. It may take a little longer as they run fewer buses...

    Southwest--will costs drop?

Very simple airlines don't have to and will continue to go for the profit unless demand drops. Airlines have consolidated and have limited the number of flights so they have lowered the supply below demand hence higher prices. On the bright spot this also could allow start up bargain airlines to...

    Southwest--will costs drop?

We booked this week for October as their sale fares brought the price down for non-stops enough that my points covered the fare. Coming from upstate New York it was too good to pass up!

Disneyland vs. Magic Kingdom poll(only those who have been to both)

Love Disneyland and it's uniqueness and history. I love being able to get around the park easily and go back to my hotel without boarding a bus. I love WDW because it's more convenient and I can visit it more often and it's expansive footprint. I'm heading back to Disneyland in April and back to...

Massachusetts School Vacation 4/16-4/23 Ridiculous Airfare prices, advice needed

The only caveat to August is to have a tolerance for high temperatures with high humidity. If you don't mind that, then absolutely you can save money and have less of a crowd to deal with.

Massachusetts School Vacation 4/16-4/23 Ridiculous Airfare prices, advice needed

Absolutely if you can work a day or two outside of the school vacation period, you'll save some money. We also booked really early and sometimes would get our seats prior to the airline adjusting their pricing.

    DME after 10pm

We've come in late a few times and it did take a bit longer, maybe another 10-15 minutes for loading.

Disneyland vs. Magic Kingdom poll(only those who have been to both)

Love both, but if you pin me down Disneyland is better than the Magic Kingdom. The immersive detail is so much better and because of its smaller footprint it enhances the intimacy. Magic Kingdom is so spread out that even though they can do great detail on individual attractions it doesn't flow...

Has Anyone Stayed At Pop Century Lately?

Food court is fine. Basic counter service with some extra stands included. Depending on your taste AoA might be better, but I prefer Pop. Rooms are basic motel, but clean and well maintained. All I want in the room is a place to crash after a long busy day.

Cheapest place to eat Thanksgiving dinner

If what you're looking for is a traditional Thanksgiving feast without paying horribly (although everything is overly priced at Disney), I would suggest Trail's End at Ft. Wilderness campground. We at there one year and it was very good and less than the other holiday spreads.

    US Airways?

Well I vowed never to fly US Air again and flew Southwest the last two times and loved it. US Air shouldn't be a problem too much longer after it merges with American so long as they don't pick up too many of US Air's bad habits.

UGH! Waited to long to book flight!

I've found prices great 6 months out and 3 months out. It all depends on a variety of factors including time of year. April is a bad time for cheap fares so if you find one that looks good grab it! It may not come around again.

Disney's All Star Music Resort Intermission Food Court closing for major refurbishment this summer

I wasn't a fan of the food changes. The pasta is not as good as before and I'd rather have ice cream than there gelato. No milk shakes for anybody and sundaes are not traditional.

    Airlines....

Best deal and best service is my motto. While most airlines service has declined over the years, I find USAirways to have been the most problematic for me, delays, attendants being inconsiderate, and all sorts of annoyances. Perhaps when their merge with American is over and the dust settles...

    POLL: PLANES, TRAINS, or AUTOMOBILES?

We usually use planes, but have hauled our trailer down the 20 hours to Orlando.

Canadian Lumberjack Show to open at Epcot's Canada Pavilion in early October

It's pathetic because it's a small stage with a poor host and is slowly paced. Need more action to make it watchable beyond the skill necessary to throw an ax and run a crosscut saw quickly. I do like lumberjack competitions, this was at best a poor exhibition.

    Pizza

Pizza is like wine we all have our favorites. Unfortunately none on Disney property suits me.
