    busy days at each park

There is a general rule based on when most people arrive and that MK is often the first and last park they visit whilst epcot will probably be the second etc etc. Anyway, I never remember it all so I just look on TouringPlans.com They may not be 100% accurate but I've always found the advice to...

    Early ADRs at MK

I'm guessing that's a typo. "None of the attractions are open..."

Would doing a split stay be a hassle ?

Go for it! We did this a couple of years ago at WDW as well as a few years earlier at DLP and everything was fine and pretty painless. Obviously you need to pack your bags in the middle of your stay (or just not unpack them at all!) but that's as difficult as it gets. Ask bell services and...

Just purchased 14 Day Ultimate passes

Sounds like a good deal. How many tickets did that get you?

Question about sending purchases to your resort

Really? I've never known it to not be there later that same day. I guess if you make a purchase late in the day, it may not arrive till the following day but it's normally pretty efficient. For the OP's question though. Sounds like it's possible to me. I would make sure I bring confirmation of...

    water shoes

Yep. It's pretty much recommended actually as the ground can get very hot in the sun. The surface at the bottom of the wave pool at TL is also very rough so lot's of people wear them for comfort. When on the rides, either leave them on the feet (if they are a good fit) or hold them if not.

medical care / pharmacy if staying on-site?

I was quite ill for the first few days of our last trip (I think it's sitting on a plane with poor air circulation for 9 hours). I only needed over the counter medicine and that was freely available. Like others have said, there are pharmacies that deliver I saw their vans parked at the...

    Wilderness Lodge Reviews/ Opinions/ Experiences???

I was there during a pretty busy season in April and this was never an issue. I think that once we had to wait 15 minutes for the next boat to come round to get to MK but that was it. Coming back from MK after Wishes had finished however was a bit of a different story. We waited about an hour...

    Wilderness Lodge Reviews/ Opinions/ Experiences???

I love it. The theme alone is the main reason I love it, the huge lobby, the big fires and the fact that it does feel like a small cabin in the woods. The rooms are great, not absolutely amazing but certainly better than average and very comfortable. Some rooms even have partial views of the...

    2010 Disney DVD

There are some minor changes between 2008 and 2009 (dont know about 2010) just to show new attractions. 99% is identical though.

La Nouba Tickets in the UK???

Defiantly order before you arrive. I consider myself very lucky that we were able to get tickets at such short notice but it was a very quiet time in January. This was back when I was a noob to the whole Disney Experience so didn't really consider booking in advance (esp as we were staying...

La Nouba Tickets in the UK???

Picking up the tickets is nice and simple so I wouldn't worry too much. For what it's worth, when we saw the show we managed to get tickets a couple of days before the performance. They were some of the "worst" seats in the house but they really weren't that bad. Apart from being harassed by a...

    Engagements at Disney?

Congratulations! That sounds amazing and you really made the most of a great opportunity. That whole trip will be something neither of you will ever forget!

    Resort Choices

I would stick with the Yacht club. It's always good to try somewhere different and the Yacht club has a better location.

    Driving in the World

I vote for the bus too. Not just for MK either! My experience at the AKL is that the busses are frequent and reliable. My personal opinion (and I know lots would argue) is that I can't see a good reason for driving around the parks.

    Question about crowds

For what it's worth, I would always vote for October (or anytime that isn't notoriously busy). Big crowds can make the difference between seeing everything you want and having to limit yourself to spending hours in queues. Don't get me wrong, WDW is amazing even when busy but those crowds are...

    Where to stay?

Thanks. If I could afford it, I would be staying at the Disneyland hotel again in a heartbeat but it's a lot more than even New York. I have though about the partner hotels but to be honest, I think I would always regret not staying in a Disney hotel - kind of like staying in the Swan &...

    Security at the Entrance

Wow, that seems pretty strict. I've never had a problem taking food into any UK themepark (or most other American ones actually). Same goes for movie theatres. Looks like this is greed on a national level. I appreciate glass bottles / jars could be a problem, as alcohol wood be too but a couple...

How do you slow down your WDW visit?

Honestly, I'm not sure I could slow down. Even during our last visit where I had an injured foot I was running around all over the place. I really think that you should only slow down if you want / need to. Why plan to have a slow vacation if all you really want to do is run to the next...
