    Spirit of Aloha Opinions?

I would recommend the SoA luau very much. Especially if you have not done it yet. I agree that the storyline is not the best. It is still entertaining. The music and dance are quite good. While we don't do this show every visit. We do go at least once every other year.

What is the first thing you buy?

My wife and I do the same thing. We usually purchase a frosty, fermented beverage and kind of wander a bit prior to check in or if we need to wait for our room. Its the perfectly start to a vacation.

Why no HD tv in the deluxe resorts!?

I agree completely. No one is advocating sitting in a room and watching a TV. If anyone is looking for a $500/night place to watch TV. I will offer my garage as an option.

Why no HD tv in the deluxe resorts!?

That sounds a lot like Pleasure Island used to be. But that is a discussion for another thread. But keeping to your point. I don't want to leave the resort when I visit Disney. Doesn't you going and spending a percentage of your vacation budget off site strengthen the argument that Disney...

Why no HD tv in the deluxe resorts!?

Sometimes after the Parks close and the the fireworks are over. People go back to their rooms and are not ready for lights out. In these times I personally would like a larger channel selection. I don't think that everyone bringing this up is skipping the pool or the Parks just in hopes of...

    Beach club or Poly?

We truly enjoy being at both resorts. To me though, the Polynesian has a more relaxing atmosphere. I just seem to slow down when I am there. I vote for the Poly.

What beers are at the resort bars?

While I would love to brew at home. Brewing is actually my full time job. One that takes up most of my non vacation time. Once I retire I plan on brewing at home. I agree with you on IPA's. It is not all about the hopping. You need to brew with a balanced profile in mind.

What beers are at the resort bars?

Have you ever tried Kinsale lager from Ireland? It was at a locale Irish pub for a while. The said they couldn't get it through their distributor any longer. It very good. Crisp taste with a mild malty finish. I have been looking for it unsuccessfully since they stopped carrying it.

What beers are at the resort bars?

Nice to see there are fellow brewers on the board. I enjoy Porter's more than stouts personally. I also enjoy a good amber ale. But as stated earlier I am an IPA man at heart.

What beers are at the resort bars?

Your quite right. An IPA is more bitter or higher in IBU's . Frequently higher in alcohol also. Trout pass does close early, but Stewart and Carrie do a great job while they are open. It is one of our favorite place to hang out.
