Got stuck on ToT last August on a day that was easily 98+ degrees. It was in the shaft going up and just after the doors close after the breaking window pane, we just sat there. And it got hot. Then hotter. After 10 minutes a voice come on telling us to sit tight. Then even hotter...

If your request is for mickey ears made up of the triangular spaceship earth exterior as a base, with one ear full of the world showcase flags and the other of the original pavilion logos you'd get my support. But I don't know that for a fact. :shrug: I'm just saying that would be great.

I just stayed there this past weekend for the 25th, and I'll be back there in December. Alligator Bayou ranks right up there with the best resort areas in WDW to me. Enjoy your trip! :xmas:

The Sklar presentation was my favorite part of the day. He really seemed to be talking to the crowd on hand (i.e. EPCOT and Disney freaks), and he didn't dumb anything down. Very well done. :)

Heard today from a pretty reliable source that Disney will soon announce more specific plans for their smaller themed "parks/attractions" in cities outside of their traditional theme park locales. I don't have much specific info, but I was told that a speech would happen in the "near future"...

Can't say where I heard this, but on Oct 1st look for the following merchandise in EPCOT: mickey ears: the head is 1/2 of spaceship earth outer design, with one ear having the original pavilion logos on it and the other the flags from world showcase. t-shirts: with the original EPCOT pavilion...
