Vegan at Walt Disney World - Nov 2018

We were tentatively impressed with the overall experience last year, and this info makes me tentatively optimistic about our summer 2018 trip :p Seems like Disney is moving in the right direction, slowly but surely!

Vegan at Walt Disney World - Nov 2018

Happy to share our summer 2017 vegan Disney experience. Here's day 1 for a start. Let me know if you're interested to see more, we documented the whole trip! :p Day 1: Arrival. Dinner @ Boatwrights, Riverside. This was just OK to be honest. Nothing to complain about, just underwhelming and not...

Would you rather spend a day at Disney's Hollywood Studios, or Universal Studios?

Tough call but Fantasmic and the Star Wars fireworks just push Hollywood into the lead for me. Otherwise both parks have a handful of attractions I really enjoy.

Has anyone spent 2 weeks at WDW?

We went for 2 weeks in 2017, and going back for another 2 this summer :) Similar itinerary both years, with a few restaurant switches to try something new. We are basically flat out the whole time, either at/heading to an attraction or feeding ourselves :) Here's how 2017 panned out: Day 1...

Caribbean Beach Resort: May Construction Updates & Skyliner Questions?

Thanks for the updates. We're staying at CBR in July so keeping a close eye on developments. Hoping to get a pirate room! :p

    Biggest Regret at WDW Restaurant...

Not knowing what to expect from chef TJ at Trail's End and not being hungry enough to finish the seemingly endless stream of delicious food food he kept bringing out. A regret we plan to rectify this year. :p

Vegan at Walt Disney World - Nov 2018

We were there last year and found the vegan options to be quite average. I'd have been much more positive but they didn't even have a drop of soy sauce for a very bland and boring tofu+veg dish. My vegan burger was quite good and the fries were excellent. The star of the show was the tofutti...

    Resort Touring Ideas?

Another vote for AKL. Breathtaking. Try to plan for a meal at Sanaa too if you can, we absolutely loved it!

If you could teleport anywhere in WDW right now, where would it be?

Transportation center at 8am. Ferry boat across to MK for opening :)

    WDW with 18 year old

I went when I was 11, 12, 16, 35 and 37 (last year!) and it just gets better and better with each visit! So much so that I'm off again in July this year! :) And that's coming form Europe, so it's a major deal for us. :)

Vegan at Walt Disney World - Nov 2018

Oh my! I'm here to confirm the rumors are true. Trail's End was a highlight for us last year. We had also heard the reports and were keeping our fingers crossed that TJ was in the house... He was and he served up a phenomenal vegan feast for us! Be warned though, unless you are a BIG (very...

    Quick Service Beverages?

Has anyone chanced their arm and tired, for example, to exchange 2 snack credits for a beer? :) How flexible are Disney with things like this or is there just no haggling at all? Cheers!

    Dining Plan 2018

Hi guys, anybody have experience with the 2018 Quick Service plan, which apparently now includes beer? This seems to add a heck of a lot of value to the plan if you can use up credits for the normal beers they sell around the parks and resorts. Or have they introduced a special beer serving...

Anyone staying at Caribbean Resort in last week or so with an update?

Thx for info. I guess a lot can change even between now and July. Hopefully we wont be disappointed!

Anyone staying at Caribbean Resort in last week or so with an update?

We are staying there early July for 2 weeks and the only thing we're really concerned about is the efficiency of the buses. We don't mind a long walk within the resort to get the bus stop, just that the buses are frequent enough at both ends with no unreasonably long waits! Anybody had any...
