Wasn’t the OG rumor that DL’s was going to close and open first? Wonder what happened to that… Regardless, this new concept art is finally showing what I’ve been waiting to see. Up until now, there was nothing that really sold me on the swampy/bayou feel that should’ve immediately been visible...

I would assume however, since this is one of the few projects that would be completed in Iger’s 2-year CEO window, he would actually want to deliver quality on it. Not saying any significant creative choices would change at this point, but I think Iger will put a lot more importance toward it...

If anything, I think the news just secures a pretty healthy budget for the project. Something that would be far less concerning for us fans.

Agree 100%. While I do agree about the inevitably thing you mention, Chapek’s handling of it in any regard was horrific. If it were Iger for instance, the situation would have been handled so much better — regardless of whichever road he would’ve taken with it.

While I do love this, I just saw on MC that it took 15 months from concept to completion? Why does Disney work at a snail pace? Makes no sense.

I wish the order of the heroes was swapped a bit. The “One Jump Ahead” reprise would have flowed so nicely into the princess medley.

With MMRR opening in a few months and Splash going down around the same time, I still am holding out hope that something in regards to this project is announced within the next year.

Only thing I disliked was how they got rid of the cannon. They probably could’ve kept it if they started off the heroes segment with Aladdin.

Such a great update for the east coast version. While ours is still good, it makes me miss our OG version! Definitely was the superior show. You can’t beat Peter Pan on the Columbia and the OG vocals/soundtrack. Everything now just seems too projection heavy/bright/visually cluttered. I still...

Honestly very impressed with the update. The new scene makes the show feel surprisingly longer, in a good way! So happy they kept the original score. I’m a DL person myself, so I was pretty bummed when they revamped the soundtrack/singing voice.

When it comes down to it, with people paying as much money as they are to visit the parks, there is no excuse to not have everything in perfect shape. If show issues are suffering due to supply/staffing issues, pricing should reflect accordingly. At least morally speaking…

I just hate how incomplete of an appearance it has without a peak. It looks like it’s missing something.

I must say, I am a pretty big fan of these new Holiday costumes. I really disliked the generic winter ones we had last year. Glad they’re changing!

Do we have any idea on what to expect during the fireworks? There is no way I can see them closing the land early anymore.

I just really hope we don’t get a tacky castle overlay. The 50th was too gaudy and the 60th had those ugly roofs.
