I understand that it is going to work the same as last yr---that was such a great deal---used our snack credits for lobster fisherman pie, milk chocolate creme brulee, beer cheddar soup, sushi and so much more!

Has anyone stayed at the Wilderness Lodge VILLAS and been able to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks from their balcony?...is it possible even? We stayed there a couple yrs ago in a 2 bdrm villas but were facing the bustop in the front....this coming yr I would like to get a room facing the lake...

Character interaction at Chef Mickey's was great but the food was not at all !!--if I am shelling out $100 for our family of 5, I expect better food---heard Crystal Palace food is better, so trying that this yr.

wow, we have just the opposite problem, my kids have a gourmet palate already and dont like the standard mac n cheese, nuggets, etc.....so best thing we have found is to eat at the higher end buffets/family style like Boma, Ohana, Whispering canon, etc.

Tuna Oscar was fabulous!!!!! We loved Kona for dinner.

San Angel, really enjoy the atmosphere---get a table ride by the water ride that cuts through....won't eat there again....food was very weak. I the "chips" of the chips and salsa were round tostidos, as soon as that came out I knew the meal to follow was not going to be special.

Have stayed at the OKW 2 bdrm villa, by far the biggest villas, loved it and would go back again, great kitchen, very open, huge porch area....just my thoughts!

Wow that looks good, I wonder if that counts as a snack on the DDP?.... as several other things in the bakery do

thanks! We are actually from NC and are one of those people on the year round schools. The past two years, we have been able to go the last week of Sept into the first few days of Oct., but this year, our break doesn't fall until Oct. 2nd.

We are also stuck on the Wilderness Lodge Villas. In Sept., we couldn't get in so had to stay at OKW. Was nice, but not the Wilderness Lodge!!!!!! I keep trying to talk my husband into staying at the Beach Club Villas but he just doesn't seem to think anything will be quite like the WLV...

We went the end of Sept/early Oct. this past year and Sunday and Monday were pretty crowded and hot. But the rest of the week, was low humidity and the crowd levels were low. Never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a ride. I think it is a great time of year to go.

We are thinking about either going Oct. 2nd - 9th or Oct 16th - 23rd. Any suggestions of which week would be better?

I hear feathers are high in fiber, dont eat too much!:ROFLOL:

We stayed at OKW this Oct. It was really nice. One suggestion.....call and ask to be near Hospitality House. We were right across the street from it, and it was so convenient!!!!

I'm pretty sure there was a DVD player. We brought DVD's with us (and I think you could "check" some out from the community center) but never watched them. Also, we were on my sister's DVC points and got the free internet.

Love this place, pretty solid bbq skillet too!--and we know our bbq in the carolinas...did not disappoint. The kids love the games and ketchup routine, if your stuffy/uptight and want piece and quite, dont go....ate their twice and the kids still talk about it. Polished off a piece of their...

We stayed at OKW first wk of Oct this yr--awesome--cant go wrong with OKW, great space, charming property, laid back, great slide/pool--dedicated buses that dont stop at other resorts, quick relaxing boat ride to DTD. Would not hesitate to steer you towards OKW!

We vacationed at Wilderness Lodge Villas 2 yrs ago--LOVED it.....considering Beach Club Villas(we have never been)...but so looking forward to staying at Wilderness Lodge again, I dont want to be dissappointed if BCV does not live up to WLV....HELP, thoughts???

We have only been to the Contemporary's Chef Mickey's---any thoughts on others that are a must?
