It's something new Disney is trying out. I believe it was supposed to be just a trial that should have ended in October but I guess it's been extended.

Seeing the original Test Track would make me so happy. To be honest though the thing I want to see most isn't even an attraction or parade, it's the original Main Street Bakery. Not the Starbucks junk it is now, but when there were tables inside and lots and lots of sweets to choose from.

Currently watching a live stream of it, and besides the texting this is great! Edit: Okay, even with the texting that was amazing. My favourite part was that they used only CLASSIC, timeless characters (Toy Story is the exception, but they were totally fine) which shows they don't have to rely...

Um ... Disney can do MUCH better than that. Their recent entertainment offerings (Muppets at MK and EPCOT, MRFF, and last nights OUAT) have been so good! What went wrong here :(

So much better than CtM, and I haven't even seen OUAT in person!

I asked the question because I wanted to hear other member's opinions, and I very much respect everyone's opinion. My opinion is different than most, because the DDP suits my family's needs and makes sense for us. I'm just giving a reason why we like the Dinning plan, I'm not trying to force...

Hey, I get it. The dining plan is expensive. For my family though, it's cheaper to go with the plan then to pay for everything individually. It's not over paying if you would just buy the same things if you were off the plan.

Age has nothing to do with it. My parents love the DDP just as much as I do, and when I have a family of my own I'm sure as heck going to go with the Dinning plan.

But even if we didn't use the dinning plan, my family would still end up eating a CS lunch (plus drink), 1 or 2 snacks a day, and a TS dinner (plus drinks and maybe a dessert). The food at Disney is part of our vacation. We want to eat on location, and we chose restaurants based on where we like...

It seems like every time I'm on the Haunted Mansion I get stuck right where you'd like to (when you're going backwards down to the graveyard)! Let me tell you, the novelty wears off after the first 30 seconds ;) Personally I hate when rides break down, but I especially hate when boats get...

See, my family would/will never get desert if we go out to dinner normally, but with the Dinning Plan, desert is included so we get one because we can. We like that it gives us an excuse to eat more since that's part of the vacation for us. Next question ... what are the benefits to not getting...

Why do so many people not like the DDP? My family gets it every time we go, and I think it's great for what you get. Also, why do some people think the DDP ruined Disney dining in general? Is it because the food prices are too high unless you're on the dining plan or something else?

Tacky? It seems very charming and fun to me. Same with the Mickey Mania parade. I wish current WDW would continue making some of those smaller character based parades like from the earlier days of the Magic Kingdom. Nothing fancy, or even on the same level as FoF, just something charming.

I wish I could use the Shop Disney Parks App, but unfortunately it's not available for anyone outside of the US :(

Does anyone know how long it takes for these to ship and arrive? I would like to send one to my Disney World hotel but I don't know if it would arrive fast enough (can't be there after December 1).
