Favorite Spot at Night and Why?

Agreed on both. Especially Big Thunder. Love that ride at night. The dips make you laugh a little harder.

Favorite Spot at Night and Why?

I will say... I absolutely love walking across that bridge into Tomorrowland looking at all the Tomorrowland lights at night. That definitely makes me feel like a kid again. Love it! Adventureland is cool at night too. Used to have a slightly better feel to it, but it's still nice

Favorite Spot at Night and Why?

For some reason I enjoy HS at night too. Mainly, Tower of Terror. I do enjoy Haunted Mansion as well, it is my favorite ride after all haha. Polynesian is amazing at night too. Eat at Ohana, drink a backscratcher in the lobby, walk around the resort with all the torches lit. Very cool...

Favorite Spot at Night and Why?

I want to start a new Thread. What is your favorite spot in the World at night and why? Parks/Resort/Restaurant anywhere. I'd love to hear everyones reasons. For me.... Epcot! The lighting of Spaceship Earth, Illuminations and just taking a nice walk around the countries is...

    Fantasyland Expansion Photos 3-22-12

Just me? Or does the 2nd Dumbo look like it has a lot of work left? I dont get how its that far behind the other one. I would hope they would try to make sure it's complete by June to help summer crowds. Being in construction and knowing how phases like that can go, i just find that a bit odd.

    Polynesian Smell

We were there 2 weeks ago and it's so upsetting. It really is gone. That and the Contemporary were always my favorite resort smells. I will say this, not just because its a new smell, but the new smell they have going is awful. It's like a strong flowery fake smell. Gave me a bit of a...

    Original Barnstormer vs Goofini

Who really cares. It's like a 10 second mini roller coaster for the youngsters to enjoy. The new theming fits just fine. The old one was good and fitting... The new one is good and fitting. Still the same ride, not a big deal. The overall detail of the small section opened is well done, and...

Yeti is indeed being fixed! Update 8/4/2014

THANK GOD. We can finally stop hearing constant crying over it. It never ruined my experience on it when it wasn't working but I'm glad to hear it being fixed.

Leaving kids at home...pros and cons

Taking only some of your kids would definitely give you "Worst Parents of the Year" Award lol. If you see friends/family later that year and they see pictures and ask "hey, where's ______" and you say, ahh well we tried saving some money. You will definitely have your ears ringing for a while...

    Polynesian Lobby Smell

There was always a distinct smell in Journey into Imagination as well. little fact... an old Yankee Candle had the exact smell. It was called Roses of Cliffwalk. My stepmom owns a candlestore and visted Yankee Candle for business and they said that. It is true. It smelled exactly like i was...

    Polynesian Lobby Smell

LOL. This thread is great. I too, was in love with that smell. Always looked forward to it after I got off the monorail and walked in. I think if the smell isnt there now, it will be back. Its a combination of all the smells (food and flowers etc). Eventually the smell will make its way back

What's being done at the Main Street Bakery?

Well Said. I went in 2009 after my LONGEST drought ever, I didnt go for 8 years. I used to go every year, and since 09, I go back every year again. When i went in 09, one of my favorite rides (Space Mt) wad down for refurb. Didn't complain once. I was still in WDW having a great time on all...

    Coronado Springs vs. Riverside--Bus service

In the 4 times I have stayed at PO, my bus service was fine. No long waits, typical crowds. Nothing out of the ordinary. The resort feels a lot cozier then CS. We were in the back of the resort at CS. A forever long walk (which felt like a maze) to the main building to hit up the store. We...

    Coronado Springs vs. Riverside--Bus service

Please Believe my word... Port Orleans is MUCH better than Coronado. Coronada is huge with a bunch of bus stops. I never complain about bus service because hey, it's complimentary with your stay. We did Coronado in 2010 and I won't do it again, too big for us. We waited forever for buses. I...

    Our First Trip!

Congratulations, We hope you enjoy your trip. Chef Mickey is a good place and kids will love it. It can be a bit much sometimes. Cape May Cafe is a little quieter, good food and kids will love it. I would highly suggest plan things you definitely want to do, but don't make a hard...
