The carousel is the biggest sin of the IP mandate IMO. I’m sure the carved characters will be beautiful, but I think it would be just as beautiful if they were South American animals instead of Disney characters. Llamas, Jaguars, Tapirs, Capybaras, etc.

It’s gotten more popular over time, but I’m not sure it resonates with kids the same way Monsters, Stitch and Cars do. I think they’d need to test its viability with a stage show or meet & greet before committing to an attraction.

My problem with this is that, if they do a different show with the Muppets in this park, you’re inviting comparisons to MuppetVision. It won’t stack up. Not only do people have 34 years of nostalgia for MuppetVision to cloud their judgement, but people are also really cynical about modern...

I’m sure we’ll hear something about the new show at Destination D23 in a few months. Disney won’t open a new land with a large empty building in front…especially if it used to house a fan-favorite attraction.
