I still don’t think they’d do anything to it for at least a decade, especially if fans receive the update well. They’d coast on that goodwill while they address other areas of the parks until his number gets called again. At that point, I think a different IP would be inevitable.

One of the major characters from the first film is an imaginary friend. They literally go on a journey into Riley’s imagination. It’s not the primary focus of the movie, but it would be a better fit than several of the IPs that Disney has shoehorned in places lately.

There’s more room in Echo lake. Bulldoze Indy & Backlot Express and you can go back into the parking lot. You could easily get several E-tickets in there themed to Marvel, Incredibles, Big Hero 6, etc. Not to mention the possibility of Rogers the Musical replacing the Frozen sing along.

I’m honestly shocked they never clones Crush’s Coaster from Paris there. It would be a good enough fit next to Nemo. I do not see it happening now since that ride is older and Guardians fulfills the spinning coaster role.

I’m a little concerned with Disney going all-in on Mayhem instead of focusing on a wider selection of Muppets, but I’d be lying if I said this wouldn’t get me excited.

My biggest fear has always been the inverse. Inside Out gets the attraction while Disney throws fans a bone with a Figment show in Magic Eye. Glad that’s not what insiders believe is happening
