Going all out for one day. EMM and Dessert Party

I think this is a good idea, except I would add in staying for the FoF parade and heading back to the room after. It takes about 30 minutes each way to get out of the park, you the room at AoA, and then back to the park. I would definitely save all of Tommorowland for after the park break. It...

Going all out for one day. EMM and Dessert Party

Butttt there is a chance that 7DMT could be down. Rides don't care if you spent the extra money, if there is an issue it has to be down. It was down quite frequently when we were there. Peter Pan and Pooh wouldnt be very fun after riding each 5 times :hilarious:

Going all out for one day. EMM and Dessert Party

Orrrr, you could always drop the dessert party ($79 per adult and $47 per child) and add on 3 day park hopper for about about $70 per person, this way you have the option to make up anything you missed on the first day and you can catch the fireworks on another night that you arent doing the EMM.

Going all out for one day. EMM and Dessert Party

What other parks are you doing? If you want to fit it all in, I would do 2 MK days and then one day at another park.

Going all out for one day. EMM and Dessert Party

Do you have a FP for 7DMT? When we were there this time last year, the wait time was consistantly over 60 minutes, and that only it the ride didnt break down :banghead: We rode it once with a fast pass, and waited in line for 40 minutes standby just to be told it was closed and they had no idea...

Pre-Trip An Accidental Anniversary Trip - June 2018

If I were you, I would just keep it as it. As fun as TSMM is, I wouldn't move my plans around jest because its closed. There is still plenty of stuff to do to occupy your time.

    Top 3 Breakfast Locations

The food is horrible......you should really really REALLY stay away from the patisserie in France first thing in the morning, like far far far away :hilarious:

Going all out for one day. EMM and Dessert Party

I wouldn't miss the FoF parade. Move it Shake it, yeah I would pass, but FoF is so fun and you kids will most likely see their favorite characters.

Favorite Places to Eat when NOT on dining plan!

Hello Everyone! So we are currently planning our trip for next year, and with the increased cost of the dining plan (and the super picky 7 year old that belongs to me), its not worth it to pay like $70+ per person per day. We are wanting to do maybe a table service everyone other day, and a...

Free Dining Might Change My Plans

I disagree.... don't you know that calories don't count on vacation :hilarious::hilarious:

Pre-Trip We are family...I got all my cousins with me

google David's DVC rentals and go to the cost calculator. Two weeks from July 2019 - August 3rd could be around $3k for a studio at AK or Saratoga Springs all the way up to $18k for a 2 bedroom at Grand Floridian. When we were pricing our vacation for next year, you can get a deluxe studio at...

Any point in staying at the All Star Sports Resort?

If I were you, I would opt for the Residence Inn across from Universal. It could be a 20-30 minute trip, minimum, from All-Star to Universal. Plus if its right across the street transport from the hotel to Universal could be really easy.

    Water Parks

I would think this would depend on your son. I would let my daughter wait for me because she knows not to run off. At 7, all I have do is tell her where to wait, and she does is capable of doing so. The lifeguards can't really "watch" your kid for you because they have to watch the water. If you...

Changes coming to the character line-up at Hollywood and Vine breakfast

I would LOVE a Toy Story character meal. We did the Disney Junior dine when mine was 5, and she was just at that age where she wasn't really into Disney Junior. This would be so CUTE!

How do you make Disney magic while away from the parks?

Pandora has a playlist called Walt Disney Records Mixtape. We love listening to this in the car. It includes music from the parks, movies, etc.

Advice on beach vacation after WDW:Vero beach?

We stayed in Orlando near Disney the night before heading to Port Canaveral for a cruise. Although we didn't actually go to the beach, it was only an hour drive from WDW to Cocoa Beach (hour and a half if you avoid the toll roads).

    Split Stay with DVC Rental

Thanks for asking this, because I was wondering the same thing! This makes it soooooooo much cheaper than booking with Disney.

    Beach Club or Boardwalk

I love me some ice cream, so does my daughter. We were on a cruise last week and i am pretty sure she consumed approximately 752.7 ice cream cones. :joyfull::joyfull:

    Beach Club or Boardwalk

We just came back off the cruise! Plan on getting the pictures off my camera this weekend and finishing up the trip report! I can say I was definitely not jealous of the sunburned/exhausted people that came straight from the parks.
