    MSN Travel Tips: Avoid AK?

[AK is my favorite park....and I think it is the park with the most potential for growth (heck it has the space for it). Sure people won't pay 67$ just for AK...that's why you buy the multi-day passes...duh! That's just what I was thinking. Ya, maybe $67 is too much for AK, but I...

Need help convincing teen friends to go to WDW

Now don't beat me up too badly with my suggestion :lookaroun. Maybe suggest a day or two at Universal & Islands of Adventure. I LOVE Disney, have been going since I was 8 yrs. old (30 years now). But for the past 5 years or so, we've added one or two days in Universal/Islands. My son (who's...

Just got back; and people are rude...

I also found more rude people on my trip in July than any other year (and I go every year). The pushing and cutting is out of control. There was this little kid (about 7 or 8) weeving and moseying his was past people then calling his whole family up to him, like he was holding a place in line...

    Windsor Palms Resort

We just got back from staying there. The location is WONDERFUL. We could see EE from the balcony :D . We had a three bedroom, two bath condo. It was a little tired but fairly well kept non-the-less. We could walk to the pool, which was very nice. They have a game room and a 50 seat movie...

    So-long stupid Noodle Station!

It is if you have a family. For me it would cost $98.00 w/o tax and tip and an adult beverage or two. I'd rather spend the money on something that won't be gone in a couple of hours. :veryconfu

    When do you usually go?

We usually go mid to late July. I know...........HOT & CROWDED. But my son's school starts soccer season in early August, so that leaves us July. We like going for two weeks (my brother lives in Vero) so school vacations really aren't an option for us. Once the kids are grown...

Any tips for celebrating a girls birthday at Disney?

We were there for my daughters 8th birthday too. We had breakfast in the castle and she got her birthday button from the parks and we got to ride in the front of the monorail! What a birthday she had! The princesses did make a "fuss" over her in the castle, as well as almost all the CM's...

    Disney Trip Tips

Yes, free coke would be nice if it were swallowable :zipit:  . We went in there a few weeks ago, our first time since the renovation. My kids got a kick out of it and had fun telling my husband and I that "Beverly" was yummy! :hurl:

    Does your spouse love Disney?

I think we might be married to the same guy! :veryconfu The kids and I LOVE all things Disney but my husband could take or leave (mostly leave) Disney. I've been going almost every year since I was eight (30 years) and have turned my kids into Disneyaholics too. My husband would rather...

Posted opening times vs. actual opening times

I was just there last month and we were let into Epcot before 9:00 but did the rope walk to Sorin right at 9:00. AK was the same. We has breakfast at Breakfastasaurus at 8:00 but were roped off until 9:00 when we did the rope walk to EE. Both on Sorin and EE we got to be one of the first...

How do you save $ for your WDW trip?

Ever since I was married I've put away $100 per week for "vacations" (mostly Disney, of course :animwink: ). I've found once I make it part of my expenses, it automatically gets saved. It's like any other bill that needs to be paid, no questions asked, it needs to be paid or it will be taken...

Is late August hotter than July?

Hot is hot............July or August, it's the same. We just got back from WDW and at 11:00pm it was still 86º. Sweat was dripping down my back while watching Wishes . My friends say the same thing "how can you go to Florida in the summer!?" My answer is it's just as hot (if not hotter)...

    Disney Price Increase

I didn't see a thread on this so far but I heard this morning, on the radio, that Disney will have a price increase starting tomorrow (8/6/06). They said a one day ticket will be $67.00. I'm not sure it that's the one park price or the hopping price. Did anyone else hear about this...

    Woo hoo! New baby

Congratulations! We started taking our son (now 16) when he was 6 mo. old. Our family thought we were crazy, but it turned out to be the best thing. We've been going every year and started my daugher (now 11) out the same way. Though we had to skip the year she was born. They were...
