    Universal announces new coaster

My love of Disney will never waiver, but this sounds very cool!!! We always slip a day or two in out of our trip to Disney to visit US/IOA and stay at Hard Rock or Portafino Bay (free Express Pass). With all these new additions, I think more time might be warrented.

Saw this really cute Disney charm Bracelet.....

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I was going through the Sunday paper and found this really cute Disney charm bracelet. I did a Google search and found the link so I thought I'd post it for anybody who might be interested...........Enjoy! :wave...

    Kali River Rapids Tips

One thing you can count on is your feet getting soaked, wear or bring flip flops or you'll get blisters for sure. I've been on Kali countless times and sometimes I'm one of the two to get "drenched" and sometimes I just get a little wet. By little wet, that means your butt will be wet, which...

    Summertime Footwear???

Me too!! I was going to feel weird posting that with all the "crocs" talk :o. I LOVE my Old Navy, every color in the world, flip flops!! I never get blisters either and I don't have to worry about my feet getting wet in the rain or on Kali or Splash.

What will the weather be like in May???

We've gone almost every year in July/August, but last year we went in mid/late May and we found that the mornings were warm, but not hot, a lot less humid than July/Aug. for sure. As it approached 10ish it started getting warmer and warmer and warmer, mid to high 80's. The think I loved best...

On site or off site...does it really matter?

For years when my kid were little we ALWAYS stayed on property. We've found ove the last several years that getting a house/condo with a pool works much better for us. We stay right off 192 and it usually takes us 6 to 10 minutes to get to the parks. Which, in my experience, is much faster...

    What is April like?

We usually go in the middle of July, so when we were there last April 25 I was pleasantly surprised. Instead of dripping sweat all day, the morning started off lovely. Fairly low humidity, but nice and warm. It did get hot during the day, but nothing like July. We comfortably rode Kali &...

What are you must do rides?

We just came back from WDW on December 27th. Although we knew we wouldn't get on EVERY ride we are used to, we did do three parks in one day and I can say I was fairly pleased at what we were able to accomplish: Spaceship Earth Universe of Energy Sorin' The Seas with Nemo and Friends Mission...

    Osborne Lights Show Times

Hi everyone, I have search the site but could not find out what time the Osborne Family Light Show starts. Does anyone know? My family and I are going to be there Thursday, December 27 (4 parks in one day ) and we really want to see the lights but also try and hit Fantasmic! too. Any...

    has anyone used priceline?

I used them for my upcoming WDW trip in December. Good prices, but they've changed my ticket/times FOUR times now. Most recently they had me with a 4 hour layover in Washington.....I don't think so!! Anyway, I called them and complained. After an hour on the phone, via a three way...

14yo alone for a while at WDW

I wouldn't. My DD is 12 and my DS is 17. If they got a long better, I'd let my DS take my DD to a park (but only for a couple of hours tops. It's not fair for him to have to "watch" her while we're off having fun). Anyway, I'm not even sure about leaving her in the room, unless you make sure...

    ON or OFF Site

Don't get me wrong, staying on site is terrific and we love it. However, for the past few years, we've been getting a three bedroom pool home right off of 192. We love the convenience of the kids having their own rooms, a kitchen, our own pool, etc and still paying what a value resort costs...

Magical vacation 8/7-8/14 @ the Dolphin

Your trip report was great.........thanks for posting! :) My family and I take "Airborn" before we fly. It's probably the best thing ever invented for airborn germs. After my DD got sick a couple of years ago (fever, vomitting, bed for 3 days!!! She actually wasn't back to herself for 10...

    Disney Store Benifits

I was told by an employee at my Disney store here in NH that Disney no longer owned the Disney Stores. I want to say Matel (but don't quote me, please. I know it's a major chain) bought them out. I said, "WOW, do you guys still get your discounts at WDE?" And she said "No, not anymore!"...

Never in July at AS Music

We used to stay on property all the time (various resorts). But because of events such as these, we've opted to rent pool homes or condo's right off of 192. Let me say, the price is super, no "tour" groups, my kids get their own bedrooms, we get our own pool, we can cook (or heat leftovers)...

    WDW Ringtones

I have Verizon Wireless and they have plenty of Disney ringtones to choose from. I have Bear Necessities, Yo-Ho-Yo-Ho A Pirates Life For Me (from the ride), Under the Sea (from the movie) & Mickey Mouse March. Last year I had Fantasmic!, but of course got a new phone and now it's not available...

    Traveling with a baby question

I didn't see it posted yet, but when my son was 8 months we took him to Disney (had a WONDERFUL time by the way) but we also took my grandfather (who lives in Florida) with us. That made for an outstanding situation. When my son would need a bottle or fell asleep , my grandfather found a shady...
