Flying with Kids w/New TSA Screenings

I feel very umcomfortable with either choice at this point. It's like you are forced to pick the lesser of 2 evils for you and your children. We aren't going to WDW until September and I hope they smooth the wrinkles of their new system out and/or amend the new system or we are seriously...

Phineas, Ferb and Agent P Meet n Greet TODAY!!!

This is SO exciting!! I just showed my daughter the photos and she was so excited! I hope they have regular meet and greets for our trip next year!

    Garden Grill or Coral Reef

I've never eaten at Coral Reef but with the experience I had at Garden Grill, I'd say Coral Reef. Actually I would pick anywhere besides the Garden Grill. Worst food ever!

    Hollywood & Vine for Lunch

Goliath got the boot and Handy Manny is there now.

    Character Meet and Greet Question...

A word of advice if you want to meet Tiana and Naveen.. Get there early. We went at a time of the year where crowds were pretty low and we waited over a hour to meet them. It was worth it for my daughter but it was a long wait on a hot day, but at least it's shaded.

How is the Garden Grille at Epcot???

Worst meal ever (in or out of Disney)!! Characters were good but I wouldn't go back there if they paid me to go. The food was incredibly bad. All 6 of left hungry. Pick some place else!

Which direction do you go and why???

We usually go straight to hit Dumbo and Peter Pan before the lines get tooo outrageous. Then we finish up Fantasyland and move towards Tomorrowland.

Are you the type to try different resorts or return to a favorite?

I liked to hop around and then I fell in love. I have tried to continue to try new resorts but the Polynesian is calling me back and I can no longer resist.:)

    riverside a good hotel?

I've stayed at both. I actually like POR more than WL. I would stay at POR again.

Weird & Creepy or you'd consider it?

I would do it. I think it's ridiculous to do it on a ride, to just eventually be sucked up in a vacuum and discarded. But I really don't see a problem if it's done discreetly in a not so public outside place in Disney. Some of the most wonderful memories I have of my parents and sisters are when...

    Jedi Training??

I'm busy planning a first time vacation for my neighbors, since I haven't talked my dh into our next trip yet. So they are planning on going in Jan, and have 6 yo son who loves Star Wars, I know Star Tours will be closed but does that mean they won't be doing the Jedi training as well?

Plz. tell me about dinner at Kohna at the Poly

Kona is one of my favorite. I love the Poly's atmosphere so even though it tends to loud, I still love it. My favorite is the coconut almond chicken and the coconut kiki tart is SO good. I also recommend the sticky wings. Best wings on Disney property. Sticky wings Coconut Almond Chicken...

    Pomegranate Lemonade locations.

WCC, Hollywood and Vine, Kona Cafe. We actually had the opo\posite issue. My kids hated the pomegranate lemonade and every where we ate seemed to have it.

Help me pick a week in febuary!!!

I'd pick the 13-20th. The following week is presidents day, Princess half marathon, ESPN the weekend and winter break up here in the Northeast, which all means higher crowds.

    Official Speedway License

We were there in May and the kids each got one. We went pretty much first thing in the morning so they might be more likely to give them out then since we only were given them that one time in the morning but we rode it many more times during the vacation. If they don't give one to you, I would...

    Snakes

I can sympathize with you. I will be the first to admit I have a legitimate phobia of snakes. I can't even look at photos of them, anxiety is not the word for it. I took my kids to see the animal guy at the library and turns out he had a python and I ended up screaming and having to leave the...

    How bad will it be?

My parents are snowbirds and I'm thinking of going to visit them the week of February vacation and then driving up to spend Wed - Sat in Disney. I know it will be busier than what we are use to because of winter break but with the Princess 1/2 marathon and ESPN The weekend during that week too...

How are the crowds in May?

This year was our first trip in May. We went the first week. Great time to go. Crowds are low, warm/hot weather but the humidity hasn't arrived yet. Spring break is over but summer vacation hasn't started yet. I would go in May again.
