News Disney considering a service like Uber at WDW - Confirmed as Minnie Van

Seems pretty straightforward - Uber is making money in WDW. Disney found a way to take at least some of that money for themselves, so they'll test it out on a smaller scale at first and see how it goes. I will still use the free transportation as my primary option but this would be great for...

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

Yes, I would assume they would have options throughout the day, should you choose to partake in them. If you want to go on Star Wars style quests for the entire day in the hotel, you can do that. If you want to spend the morning in the MK and do an "experience" at the hotel in the afternoon, I...

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

Forgive me for the extreme Star Wars nerdness - but I'd think the best version of this would be kind of like a real life Knights of the Old Republic. Seems like you'd be participating in RPG-like sidequests.

They could name their price and I would need to do this at least once.

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

No - the $650 is for one person in a room. Add $200 per night for each additional person. And @odmichael - yes $3750 for three nights for a fam of four, assuming Len's info is correct.

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

@lentesta on twitter is hearing $650 per night, minimum two nights, and $200 per person per night for any additional guests in the room. If that includes a special wardrobe as rumored (for a "100% immersive experience") and food as well, that's really not too bad.

    A Spirited Valentine ...

Plus they burn an entire village. Clearly that is "bad"...one may say even worse than auctioning brides - are they going to remove that too?! Maybe just rename the ride "People of the Caribbean" and just have the characters wave at you as you sail by.

    A Spirited Valentine ...

Random thought #2 - are there any South Park fans in here because SoDoSoPa and CtPaTown basically = Disney Springs.

Currently riding the monorail and saw the "updated" WL. Spirit, I know how you like your nicknames/acronyms so may I suggest No-Longer-in-the-Wilderness Lodge

DAK Annual Pass Previews of Pandora - The World of Avatar beginning May 13

Was anyone able to do this without actually having been able to sign up in the original window? I got an email but the event was full by the time I tried to register. I'm assuming that not everyone who signed up will actually go so is there any way to take an unfilled slot?

Some Parks tidbits from Disney's earnings call (courtesy Bloomberg): - Iger: Shanghai to welcome 10 millionth guest - Iger: Shanghai exceeding expectations - Iger: Toy Story Land the first of several planned expansions in Shanghai - McCarthy (CFO): Shanghai modestly profitable in 2Q - McCarthy...

Star Wars All-Inclusive "Star Ship" Resort?

I would have to do this at least once. I'd also wonder what they will do about people who just want to visit the hotel but not actually stay there. Would they be viewed as getting too much of the "experience" without actually paying for it? If I was at WDW and staying somewhere else I would...

    A Spirited Valentine ...

I spent the day at Disneyland on Sunday and they still advertise the ToT during the monorail narration. It's strange because as they're describing the "towering hotel in the distance" where you can "drop in on Hollywood history" you look to your left and see that very out-of-place "Collector's...

    A Spirited Valentine ...

Hm guess I shouldn't have asked. I know you're joking but a Star Wars resort would print money so they should just do it.

    A Spirited Valentine ...

I believe you've previously said that it would be surprising if Disney built more deluxe hotels. Will these new "lodging options" be expansions of current hotels or totally new offerings? If new offerings I'm hoping for new deluxe hotels or at least moderate...

    Passholder Lines

I have an AP but I typically visit the parks with friends who don't. Would they be able to go on line with me or would they have to wait on a different line?

    Alcohol in the Magic Kingdom

I don't know how, but until recently I didn't even realize Epcot NYE was a thing. I definitely want to go sometime, though I guess I should watch my step.

    Alcohol in the Magic Kingdom

I haven't seen anyone puking in the bushes but I saw a person passed out in the bushes about a year ago. I closed down Raglan Road with some friends one night and as we were walking out we heard a cough coming from about ten feet from the sidewalk. We looked closer and there was a girl face down...

    A Spirited Dirty Dozen ...

Was in DLP last week and figured most on here would appreciate the custom napkins. Also, word on the Twitter is that guests have been intentionally damaging/stealing property from SDL. Any truth to this?
