100%. Isolating the vulnerable population Is common sense. There’s a lot we don’t know still but more than enough that we can protect the high risk populations without shutting everyone in for months.

I suggest CBR for two adults but if you like to explore, take the skyliner over to AOA and walk around the courtyards. The cars area is great. Lion King is interesting. The food court is worth trying when you’re there if you need to eat.

No. Disney should be happy that people are still coming at all. Disney isn’t going out of business and this is just the typical guest experience vs cost issue that they’ve been coming out on the wrong side of.

Do they work in multiple resorts? With low occupancy and housekeeping not happening everyday, they could work multiple resorts in a day or, more likely, week.

JC could go. I get not everyone goes to AK, but JC isn’t needed. Put a boat ride with real animals in AK and use JC plot plus the expansion pad to make a great, modern Adventureland. IMO it’s only saving grace is it’s a ride that infants can go on.

That’s interesting. Seems like it would make sense to increase the size of boarding groups since they would seem to want to call people in at a rate correlated to capacity, but then I’d expect the number of boarding groups to remain pretty much the same. Something else seems to be going on.

Did they make separate reservations and you linked them as friends? I’ve made two room reservations with different arrival times. Wondering if I’ll have the same issue on days the reservations overlap.

If they cared about guest experience, they could increase capacity on a 9 hour day by over 20% just by adding a couple hours. They could extend boarding groups a couple hours past park close and close everything else. That costs money though and money trumps guest experience.

They had a decade or more to get capex right. They’ve contributed a lot to this perfect storm. Maybe the Disney brand they’ve thought they had isn’t sustainable anymore. Maybe super premium park experiences, high ticket pricing and mind boggling resort costs in the theme park industry goes away...
