The MK fireworks photo was taken with a camera that had a 14x zoom, so they looked further away than the photo. You could still easily see them, though. I couldn't hear the music from DHS, but since the fireworks I saw were red, white and blue, I thought there must have been a patriotic display.

If you go to Epcot for Illuminations at 10 p.m. and stand at the back of World Showcase, you can see the 9 p.m. display at MK (in the distance) and the 10 p.m. fireworks at DHS (by looking over your shoulder). It was fun to see all three in one evening, all from the same spot. :) MK 4th of...

Very nice! The Viking with the Mickey ears is in the boat on the left in your last picture, at the edge of the photo. This is the best I was able to get last year:

^^^ Which hotel is that? This is a good example of the details that are easily missed if you don't take the time to look around and enjoy the theming.
