The ironic part is they’re doing the opposite of that now. On site has basically no benefit and we know their IT infra is going to crash. You’re better off being the only person in your offsite hotel trying to book things at 7 am than being in the grand Floridian.

You could not prebook fast passes in two separate parks. You could get a fast pass for a new park when you were in it and if they were available. Maxpass does not require you to be in the park and it appears this doesn’t either.

They've made this infinitely complicated to understand and that's going to play out in the parks. If you get Genie+ you get to choose the next available lightning lane timeslot for a given ride. When you use that, you can choose the next one. That doesn't prevent you from going into standby...

I have to assume the number of LL riders per hour will be lifted from how many they gave FP to. It’s the only way to ensure that people aren’t ed about paying for a line that isn’t actually shorter.

That is how maxpass works… You can get in standby but you can’t pick up another pass until you use it

They're also free for hotel guests and Royal Pacific is like $300/night. It's not a fair comparison at all.

That's my point. The LL is going to be longer than FP+ ever was. Because there is no limit, just a cost ceiling.
