I don't care what anyone says, I will always love...

We are so glad we got to experience it before they killed it. It certainly put the Disney magic into their Star Wars IP. All the staff were magnificent in their roles. I feel even worse for them. ...but I am sure with their talent they will do fine. I have the largest Halcyon light-up model...

Oh good one. For me, the Epcot Morocco itself. Loved that place. Is it back or still closed down?

I don't care what anyone says, I will always love...

I really loved the DME. Getting off the plane all tired out, and hopping on the bus and starting a lovely long vacation. That was the best feeling. Decompression started on that ride. Many folks say that happens when they get through the gate and see the castle. Naw, the bus did it for me. RIP...

I don't know if they still do it, but when I took the covid vaccine, they made me sit in quarantine for a while to make sure I didn't just immediately die. But, yeah, most of the time, they just assume you will survive your first allergic reaction. My doctor went a little further, and even...

It almost seems like a CYA move for the physician. If you say you're at a 9, then it's opioid time for you. Because, lets face it, there is no good way to tell how much pain a person is in, except to ask. Guessing on the part of a physician may open them up to liability. Of course, where...

This one is easy... Mens smaller restrooms often have just a single toilet that is almost always occupied (or it seems that way when you need it), and the urinals are too high for little kids. Not all restrooms of course, but all the smaller ones built since the 90's.

I find this thread hypocritical. I mean, on the one hand, most preach you cannot judge a seemingly able person as they may have hidden handicaps. On the other hand we assume they don't belong in the handicap stall? Can you do that? Those of you who know me know I do. I have a lot of unpopular...

    Dynamic pricing at Starbucks?

I've had it. Not at all impressed. I don't get the fascination. What demographic are they trying to appeal to anyway?

Park Attendance goes down, so Prices go up?

I heard there was even an alligator or three on property in the past.

    Rides To Avoid Post-Surgery

I mean, it was said above, ask your doctor. Now, if you are like me and tend to ignore your doctor a bit, I would say work your way up until it hurts. So save the Space Mountains and other large coaster rides for last. Do the mid-tier stuff and see if that hurts. Tower of Terror is a nice...

Florida Resident Disney Vloggers on YouTube

If you are at all sensitive to narcissistic behavior, you may be put off by many vlogs. I am ok with vlogs that are primarily voiceover and fact-filled. I have watched a few of them. Not so much when they are mostly headshots and opinions. Disney vlogs seem to be mostly this with a big...

Ooooooooo. Gosh, I am not sure I have seen Philarmagic. ...off to google it and see.

    tearing during Mickey's Philarmagic?

Since when did thread necromancy become an issue for a forum with, how many new threads a week? Anywho, the wind blasting off the water and into me peepers always caused some juicing it did. For whatever reason, I only ever watched this show when it was cold and windy. Kinda odd, now that you...

Park Attendance goes down, so Prices go up?

WDW does dynamic pricing?! I don't think they are doing it right. ...like I would know more than a fleet of Mouse accountants :p

Park Attendance goes down, so Prices go up?

While you can add some capacity to WDW, it will make little difference. From what I have observed WDW operates under an induced demand model. That is, even if you doubled, tripled, or quadrupled capacity, the customers would simply see the new supply and immediately consume it. WDW is a global...

Park Attendance goes down, so Prices go up?

This is true. I suppose amusement parks obey the economics of oligopolies. One could argue the only limit to prices is what people are willing to pay. Of course, I am stating the obvious. We should be thankful. Can you imagine how crowded an underpriced park would be?

Park Attendance goes down, so Prices go up?

Our very first trip back since the 80's had a generous free meal plan incentive. Breakfast, lunch, & dinner all included. It was really great. That was in 2012, or thereabout. It definitely played a part in our decision to go.

Mickey vs Mario as pop culture icons?

Wasn't that followed by Mutual of Omahas Wild Kingdom? That might have been Saturday night, but yea, I remember both programs well. And of course the Micky Mouse Club. The 70's cast for me.

Mickey vs Mario as pop culture icons?

I know I certainly did. That very first Super Mario Nintendo console game was amazing back in the day.

Park Attendance goes down, so Prices go up?

Like you kinda/maybe said, folks have more money without kids. Kid can be very expensive. Trips to WDW are one of the ways to maximize costs.
