Park Attendance goes down, so Prices go up?

I am not sure who some of them are made for. Ticket sales would indicate nobody knows.

Mickey vs Mario as pop culture icons?

It is just like it sounds... Anime is an animated cartoon you watch on a screen. Manga is a comic book.

Mickey vs Mario as pop culture icons?

That is a good point. I would however argue that Coke is both popular and iconic.

Mickey vs Mario as pop culture icons?

To go off on a tangent, a lot of those niche channels then abandoned their namesake focus and did rando other things. History channel used to be about history w' great documentaries. Now its Pawn Stars and Ancient Aliens Discovery Channel is just as bad. Used to be an amazing STEM channel. MTV...

Mickey vs Mario as pop culture icons?

I have such a hard time believing that Pokemon beats Star Wars and Harry Potter. Shoot, almost combined. Hello Kitty, I am not as surprised. It was a big deal in Europe when I was growing up. Never caught on big in the U.S. Maybe that is the deal with Pokemon too. Maybe big deal in Asia?

is there a chance that the Magical Express will come back?

We never did strollers either. Well, not to WDW & Uni. Six Flags we did.

Park Attendance goes down, so Prices go up?

Price impacts demand. If they are using increasing price on purpose to lower demand, then it makes perfect sense. ...something I have said they need to do for a long time now. Parks are miserably crowded.

is there a chance that the Magical Express will come back?

I mean, you could say the same about airlines. You don't have to have them to get to WDW/DL (or anywhere in the U.S.), but it sure is nice, and it makes it more likely you will go. We drove from Texas, twice, to the parks. I can tell you, flying is better. Same with the DME, you can rent a car...

is there a chance that the Magical Express will come back?

Kids grow out of strollers & diapers way before they do car seats. In Texas, kid seats are the law until 8!! ...or 5 feet tall. I mean, nowadays. There were no car seats when I was a kid. Or seatbelts. I kid you not, I used to ride on the dash of our old Chrysler. ...and in the bed of the...

is there a chance that the Magical Express will come back?

Actually, you called it exactly. You check them like a suitcase and depending on your airline, sometimes there is a fee. With three, you would probably have to have one be an ultralight a kid could lug. The limo switcharoo was awesome. Cool experience for your kiddo. ...and you :p

is there a chance that the Magical Express will come back?

If picking up a rental car was "simple" I would agree. How did I discover Mears black you ask? :p Arrived in Orlando headed for UNI. Arrived kinda late, so the car rental line was long and short-staffed. When I say long, I mean ridiculous. When I say short-staffed, I mean one dude who seemed...

is there a chance that the Magical Express will come back?

As a person with kids, and a person with old people, I can tell you what uber says, and what uber does are a bit misleading. Take for example, uber with wheelchair accommodations. Sure, they have it. But getting one takes 2x-10x as long to arrive. Same thing with the child seats. You can...

Oooo, interesting spin, and I cannot disagree. Sadly.

is there a chance that the Magical Express will come back?

Have you noticed they are getting pretty loose with the definition of Uber XL? Tried it going on a cruise and ended up with something like a Santa Fe. Pffft, needless to say not big enough for all the folks and luggage. IMHO XL means not only the people, but their luggage. But I get it, it...

We use Mears Black. Big ole fancy black suburban and a professional driver. And yes, less $$ than 2x Uber XLs.

is there a chance that the Magical Express will come back?

Not shuttle buses. Big ole busses with bathrooms, TVs, and comfy seats. And not a fleet. Like, what, guessing, 4 of them? They ran hourly right? 1-2 hour round trip? I suppose, anything more than 1 is a fleet. 50 seats on a bus. A banana and water costs $6. One banana & water per passenger =...

is there a chance that the Magical Express will come back?

Agreed, the market is not the same. But DME was not in decline <--- my core point. Cab drivers have commercial licenses in most places. Rideshares are anybody with a license. Definitely not the same thing. Don't get me wrong, I use Lyft/Uber when traveling alone or with adults. When I have...

is there a chance that the Magical Express will come back?

If rideshare was free and safe, sure, this/these would be a good argument. The idea that guests still prefer to take buses comes from the idea that DME was popular to the very end (or so I understand). In 2016, when I last rode it, it was super popular. And sure, obviously once you remove the...
