Why didn't they make POTC more like Disneyland's?

I didn't know that. That's very interesting. I wonder what they based that off of? Especially since the East Coast has such a rich pirate history.

    Which waterpark?

From theming, concessions, adult beverage options and the rides themselves we prefer Blizzard Beach. We go to Blizzard Beach about 10 times a year and Typhoon Lagoon maybe once.

    Souvenir Suggestions

Get something from the ESPN Zone for the boys. That's what my folks did for me during my "Too cool for Disney" years.

    Your Disney Catchphrase?!?

When The tram recording instructs you to "hold on to loose items" I grab a hold of my wife. I find this funny. Needless to say she does not

Solving the WDW Capcity Problem. Ideas?

There is nothing more "Disney" than seeing a 3-5 year old little girl meeting what she believes is a real princess.

Solving the WDW Capcity Problem. Ideas?

I will eventually. Probably the next time I'm standing in line at Disney

    Frozen ride replacing Maelstrom?

That's very interesting and imaginative. I will never look at them the same way again.

What ever happened to Pal Mickey

Thank you for giving me the name for my next dog or boat

Connected to the "real world" while at WDW?

I try to but I just can't. I would stress more about my business if I wasn't connected to it.
  10. Uncle Remus

Anyone ever paid for another family to go to WDW?

Never without the family knowing about it. It would be a very cool thing to do though.

    A Disney thing....That people do

I read the thread. I didnt start an argument. I made a statement. You quoted me. You started an argument. You took offense that I found your poncho swapping gross. I don't fault you for it. It's just not my thing. Also I'm not sitting in a stroller. So it has no direct effect on me. The...

    A Disney thing....That people do

When was the last time you someone willing sat in visibly pooped in stroller?

    A Disney thing....That people do

Whenever we bought strollers we'd always give them to a family with a youngster before leaving the park. I wouldn't want someones poncho though. Just seems gross to me. What if they were sweating under it? When's the last time they bathed, etc.

How many of you are dreading your WDW trip?

I can't imagine dreading a vacation. If I was dreading something that was supposed to be relaxing I would plan something I wouldn't dread.

    Wait times on MDE app

My wife and I went to Universal and Islands of Adventure this past weekend and it was dead. She'd never been so it was cool. We got to ride everything and take in Collective Soul. Surprised to hear that Disney was so crowded and other theme parks weren't at all. You'd think it would be...

    Wonderful World of Disney

Huge fan here. I started a thread about it when I first joined here. I would love an "classic" Disney Chanel that aired all the old ones and had a new one once a week. They could air all of the old disney shorts and Mickey Mouse clubs as well as any other old disney Chanel programming.

How can people justify going often?

    Those are the best days

How can people justify going often?

I can appreciate that. Just the whole indignant "justify" angle was a bit much. I understand everyone is different as are everyone's entertainment levels and appeals. We all have our favorite activities. Sometimes we go to Epcot just for dinner and a night at jelly rolls.
