Speaking of Light Magic- do we think that part of Light Magic is in the finale song? I swear the end part sounds like it. They sound exactly the same and I love Light Magic’s music.

Any idea for what the construction walls are for? Intrigued by this!

I mean it’s possible the end result could always surprise you. We don’t know what it will look like 100%. Some of the facades ARE changing like Harryhausen. I would rather an IP with similar aesthetics be put into that area than one that wouldn’t match.

I absolutely think that it’s suited for a large land. If you watch the movie you’ll see that Monstroplis is full of jokes. Even the factory has it. I’m betting Disney will play that up a lot. I think it will give Imagineering a lot to work with and will give guests the ability to explore. To me...

I thought it reminded me of the Mega Movie Parade from Universal Orlando. It’s similar and not exact but it’s the same vibes.

After listening to Starlight a bunch of times over the past week, I’ve started to think that a hint of Light Magic is also in the parade? Listening to the end of the finale for Starlight and then Light Magic - they’re both almost exactly the same.

I saw in another video that Rapunzel and Flynn hold the lantern up together. Snow White also has an apple that she shows off.

So sad that it’s only Elsa on the float when all 5 of those characters are iconic. It’s a movie about sisters but they separated the sisters.

If this location has any area remotely close to Grizzly Peak then we’re in for a treat! Especially if they have music that is similar because it’s one of my favorite music loops. Trickling streams, waterfalls, geysers, I’m looking forward to it. It’s a simple land but it’s super peaceful!

Oh absolutely and I know that! But I know some kids don’t want to do shows all day and would love to enjoy more than two vehicle attractions!

Now, now, try to say something nice about Toy Story Land! Seriously though DHS is in desperate need of kiddie rides. If the only attractions I can take my kids on with no height requirement are Runaway Railway and Toy Story Mania then that’s a huge problem.

I keep an eye online and it looks like they’re draining the river, have started working quickly to take down props, and have removed the portion of the wall that said Tom hearts Becky

It’s not a full land so yes it’s only 1 or 2 attractions in the middle. However, I think Imagineers are going to be careful about what they put around the outside edges. I don’t doubt that Thunder, Mansion, Tiana, Country Bears will all have something themed similarly to their area.

Was there a reason they never added more lights around the pathway? Like holiday lights strung along over the walkway. I feel like simple fixes could really help that land.

So what’s our theory on Pinocchio and Geppetto since they were on the poster? Walking, on a float, etc?

At the end of the day, the two opinions in this thread are not going to agree. I think the river was beautiful but it was never a top choice for my family to do. But I understand that for others, it was a must do. I’m hopeful that the new concept will give something for everyone to enjoy.

I have visited the real thing. Thank you! I love both the real thing and the concept for the new attractions. DCA’s Grizzly Peak is one of my favorite aesthetic lands in the US and I’m excited to see it come to the Magic Kingdom.
