    Disney NB running shoes

The system they used at Wine and Dine and the DL half was very smooth. I hope they stick with that. I'd like to see a pre-purchase option. Have they announced the shoes yet?

What is going on with DHS ?!

I'm taking a quality over quantity stance with DHS right now. We saw Legend of Jack Sparrow one time and I would have paid $20 more to get that time back in my day. Fingers crossed we'll have news soon!

How do you recover from a miserable trip?

We always try to look back and laugh at what happened. For instance, missing our dining reservation in Epcot because we didn't want to leave Osbourne lights at DHS. We couldn't find any restaurant that would take us so we jumped on a monorail and finally landed at Polynesian. The crowds were...

Updates on the Wilderness Lodge Refurb?

Just retuned from WL. They are fencing it in with a wooden/wire mesh fence. It looked really great. They were also building a structure near the edge of the pool that looked like a place to hold towels or something like that. Towards the end of our trip, the pool had been filled!

    Best Time to Go.

I've been almost every month of the year. It seems like there is rarely a "slow" season anymore. Thanks for F&W, F&G as well as runDisney races and seasonal parties, there's always something going on to attract an audience. With that being said, I would choose a time that works best for you. For...

    New Return Procedure at Soarin'

If I were a guest and I walked up to the attraction and could not line up at a reasonable time, say 5 in the afternoon, I would be very upset. This is another example of WDW not being able to maintain even as profits soar.

    POP Century Food Court

They have moved to french bread individual pizzas (basically about a 8 inch loaf of french bread sliced in half) and they still have the huge round pizzas.

    Garden Grill Not Rotating

Just got back about two weeks ago. Was there in January and the restaurant was rotating. The server explained it as "Chip and Dale got an acorn stuck in the gears, so we're not rotating tonight." We had a lovely table overlooking a scene from Living with the Land. Character interaction was...

WDW Food Pictures Of The Day Part II

I need to make it to Raglan Road! :)

    Pop or wilderness lodge?

If you have time to spend at the resort and will use the pool, restaurants, etc., stay at Wilderness Lodge. Otherwise, if you're a park hopper and want to maximize your time at the parks, stay at Pop. I've stayed at both multiple times and love them both for different reasons.

Any places that serve fried chicken?

I was not impressed with Trail's End. However, 50's Prime Time had the best fried chicken I've had at WDW. Still doesn't stand up next to Disneyland's Plaza Inn, but it does the job!

BoG FP+ lunch: how much time to allow?

I would say at least one hour. First, you'll take more time than you realize looking in awe at the restaurant. :) Second, the portions at BoG are quite large –– it took me a while to scarf down that turkey sandwich, fries and a Master's Cupcake!

    Wilderness Lodge

Wilderness Lodge is my favorite resort! It's beautiful. Plan some time to spend by the pool, it's so relaxing. Whispering Canyon for breakfast or dinner is a treat. On our last trip, we went to the food court, got a flatbread, one of the Magic Cookie Bars (don't miss!) and some drinks and sat by...

Is it still a good value?

Interesting point. I hadn't considered what FP+ would do to the Fantasmic Dining Package.

    Swinging for the fences

For those restaurants I would say no. I flip-flop on my emotions towards the DDP. It's a lot of food, and it's very convenient to have the food paid for in advanced. The stigma of the DDP in a Signature restaurant can be off-putting sometimes. For example, at Jiko last October, the waiter...

    Boma vs. Sanaa?

Breakfast at Boma. Dinner/lunch at Sanaa. The carved meat at Boma during breakfast with the spicy tomatoes is one of my favorite meals on Disney property. Worth a visit for sure.

Magical Things to do at Resorts

Wilderness Lodge has some very cozy spots to relax. Last time we were there, we grabbed some drinks and a flatbread and hung out by the fireplace on the second floor. It was fantastic.

Wilderness Lodge rejoins AAA list of 4-diamond hotels

I was there last week and the experience was more vanilla than the unlimited milkshakes. The only thing that was out of the ordinary from a normal restaurant was the ketchup bit.

    Problem tossing the snorer out?

My dad was a chronic snorer and unfortunately I've inherited that horrible gene. Earplugs or a soft Alicia Keys album were the only things that used to put me to sleep when we'd travel with him. :)

    Coronado Springs or Port Orleans

I had really bad service with multiple CMs at Coronado. Enough to where I will never go back. However, Port Orleans (both sides) were fantastic. It's such a shame because the rooms at Coronado were huge! I wouldn't recommend paying for a specific room at the Moderates. I paid for a preferred...
