    Very tempting, probably stupid.

Thank you all for your concerns and feed(no pun intended)back! Honestly, it's not a huge deal. I really checked dining options on a whim, saw the opening at V&A and thought it might be a great opportunity to dine there. Given the circumstances, you all have confirmed what I already thought -...

    Very tempting, probably stupid.

That's what I'm thinking. I know their food is amazing, I'm just concerned it might be too much after a 3 hour flight.

    Very tempting, probably stupid.

Wife and I will be at WDW next week to celebrate our 20th anniversary without the kids (a topic for another discussion:)). There is an available table at Victoria and Albert's for Tuesday at 5:15 PM. We're scheduled to arrive that same day at 12:30 PM. While V&A would be an amazing, probably...

Seeing this thread revived again just totally made my day. Thank you!

    POR vs CBR vs CSR

Thank you for all the comments and suggestions! Seems like all of the resorts have their good and bad points, just a matter of picking the right one for the trip. :)

    POR vs CBR vs CSR

Wound up booking Pop Century Feb. 9-12. I'm sure it will be great and also a bit weird being there without the kids. Thank you for the input on this! Maybe next trip we'll try one of the Port Orleans resorts. :)

    POR vs CBR vs CSR

That's the key thing here - cost. We save roughly $200 by staying at a Value, which is money we can spend on our next family trip there (likely in 2017). And like you said, how much time is spent at the resort itself? In past trips, it's usually sleep (or maybe not much sleep on this trip...

    POR vs CBR vs CSR

Thank you for all the replies and great info! After further review, we've also added Pop Century into the mix. Pricing is attractive and we've stayed at Values before and they're OK. Please don't throw things...

    POR vs CBR vs CSR

Thank you for the feedback! I like the idea of the carriage ride and of trying something new.

    POR vs CBR vs CSR

This will be a 3 night stay in 2nd week of February for the wife and I to celebrate our 20th anniversary (No kids?! Wow!!! :jawdrop:). We've stayed at CBR (back in 2002) and CSR (in 2010) and liked them both. We've never stayed at POR and were leaning that way because it seems a bit more 'laid...

Disney adds more Orange Team capacity at Mission SPACE

Yeah, orange spins, green doesn't. I've done orange a couple times and didn't really feel the spinning, only the g-forces. Even picked my head up and looked around (they tell you not to do that) with no ill effects. Everyone's different I guess. If you suffer from motion sickness, don't ride orange.

How old were you when you first visited the Magic Kingdom?

The year was 1994 and I was 31 years old. At the time, I didn't know or care anything about Disney, or Disney Parks and honestly wasn't looking forward to visiting WDW. My fiance (now wife of almost 20 years), had been to WDW before and thought I'd have a good time, so she dragged me to MK...

What's the best WDW thing you observed that made you smile

When kids try and pick up the fiber optic lights from the pavement at Epcot.

What do you use as your phone/computer Background?

This is my background at work.

    An abandoned WDW

If something like this did happen (I know it won't), a sizable army of Disney fans from all corners of the world would show up with their own tools, time and money, and rebuild it.

    WDW Fanatic Tries DL

I thought Tony Baxter described the two Parks really well. He said (on a behind the scenes TV special), "Disneyland is charming, where Walt Disney World is spectacular."
