The best Music heard around Walt Disney World

Currently Space Mountain Queue Music – It’s just cool. Wishes – Modern Disney magic, gotta love that. Golden Dream – The theme from the American Adventure, no matter what your political views are you come out feeling so proud after that show. Background Music from Sorrin’ – Jerry...

The best Music heard around Walt Disney World

The following songs were my favorites but now they are gone Now is the Time - The old 1970s/80s COP theme -“Now is the time, now is the best, now is the best of your life.” If You Had Wings – It was haunting how that song would stay with you all day. The Main Street Electrical Parade – Was...

Thank you for being a friend …

What old rumored projects do you want to see John Lasseter reevaluate?

Roger Rabbit's time has come and gone. Eisner and Jim Henson had some great idea's for the future of the Muppets (shame on you Brian Henson, shame), I think that the Muppets need to get going again before it's too late.

More "Evidence:" Timekeeper to Monsters, Inc.

Well I’ve been away from the boards for sometime but this whole Monsters Inc thing bothers me. I share the same opinion of most of you that M.I. in no way shape or form fits into TL (but I still don’t see how Stitch and Buzz fit the theme either, both of those films take place in the modern...

    The Ticket Starring Bette Midler

Yes! I totally agree with you. Every big live action Disney film always dumps its sets at Disney/MGM and people love just to walk around them. Why won’t Disney take it further? With all the cheaply produced shows on the Disney Channel, why not produce one on one of the soundstages (it can’t be...

    The Ticket Starring Bette Midler

Martin Short and Chevy Chase!!! Oh gosh that WAS funny, I miss that show. That show was part of the whole “original” theme of Disney/MGM, entertaining yet informative. You know I wouldn’t mind also having a copy of the David Letterman pre-show - that was always part of the entire experience.

    The Ticket Starring Bette Midler

Gosh that movie was great. If I’m not mistaken it was also directed by Garry Marshall of Happy Days and Pretty Woman fame. In my humble opinion just as Horizons represented the “original” EPCOT Center, the Lottery represented the “original” Disney/MGM Studios, in that it was entertaining but...

Hold up – who’s Scoop Sanderson? I’ve never heard of him … could pass along some more info?

    .

They also use John Williams’ theme from Far and Away. I know because I’m a big Williams fan and it drove me nuts trying to place the song when I heard it standing in line. I also know that the one in California Adventure uses the theme from Air Force One in it’s loop but I didn’t hear it when I...

    Atlantic Dance

Whenever I go to Disney World without Alex (my son) I always try to have a night at Jellyrolls, it’s so much fun. However as far as Atlantic Dance Club goes … one time I went with a friend on a Friday and when we got there, you’re right there was about 10 people there but he got ill (too much to...

Brother Bear Raft Ride coming to Canada at Epcot?

The American Adventure is the most sophisticated AA show ever and Disney will probably never build another one like it … that being said I want to ask did Disney foot the bill or did Coke? However, I think the Japanese pavilion gets a lot of guests and it doesn’t have an attraction. But as to...

    Please disney build this!

Ya know the way Disney keeps messing up the themes of their lands this wouldn’t surprise me, and at least the land would have a consistent theme.

    Please disney build this!

Oliver and Company should have been made into and attraction at Disney/MGM after all it’s set in New York. What I really want to see is a live Newsies show performed on the New York streets. A few years back I directed and produced a stage version of the movie and that convinced me that Disney...

    Before Motion.......

Yes! The Fireworks Factory was a “sit down” restaurant that served burgers and the like all day long. I liked the place a lot, I’m kind-a sad that it’s gone. Now that we’re using the Way Back Machine, who remembers when the Rock’N Roll Beach Club was a roller rink that was open all day long?

    Thanksgiving week Questions!

Have fun, I know we did last year … and … perhaps we’ll see ya there. PS - As far as where to eat I wish I could recommend the American pavilion however they don’t have a real restaurant (but you would figure they would have Thanksgiving after all it’s an American holiday), so I would say...

When are you going and where are you staying official list!

November 23-27 - We’ll be staying at Port Orleans: Riverside and going to at least one park and perhaps one water park as well as having Thanksgiving Dinner at Chef Mickey’s.

    Your First Ride

I remember that show! Didn’t it disappear before Tokyo Disneyland opened, around the time they switched from the ticket system? I know that the theater sat empty before Magic Journeys moved over from EPCOT Center. If we’re counting transportation, than the Ferry Boat from the TTC to...

Most expensive ride built at WDW.

Could you post a link to where Disney discloses how much they spend on developing rides, I’m sure it’s fascinating to see how costs have skyrocketed over the years. Also I’m curious to see it because I didn’t think even the stock holders (and my son is one) had access to that information.
