Could disney be buying the paromount parks?

People aren’t talking about that again are they? It was a great idea for a park but I don’t see that coming to pass in today’s world.

    WoL Pavilion.......

I would love to see a “Life” pavilion continue on that spot with some new attractions and a few of the classics. Or … If they are set on a new theme, why not dedicate it to Walt Disney’s EPCOT? Show the original film in it’s entirety with interactive displays and try to push people into...

    A new Star Tours clue??

People often say that Disney needs to do a ride like Spider-Man, and I say no-way. Spider-Man is a revolutionary ride and one of the coolest ride systems invented, but sadly it wasn’t invented by Disney and the day Disney starts to copy Universal’s rides is the day Disney should close their...

    A new Star Tours clue??

Stop giving this guy a hard time for his post. Remember back in the 80s, after Return of the Jedi - every time George Lucas would fart people would jump up and ask - is he making a new Star Wars movie? Nope he’s just crapping out Howard the Duck. But then in the late 90s one of those farts...

    Timekeeper Closed For Good

You could always fly to Disneyland Paris and see it in its original form. If I’m not mistaken the scene with Gerard Depradu (sp?) was cut from the American version. Naturally the show wasn’t as good without Robin Williams as TK but the experience is simular.

    2/21/2006 Epcot and Pop Update

A 6+ Figment … why? They used to have Dreamfinder and the little puppet; they need to bring them back. How silly did the “tall” figment look?

    2/21/2006 Epcot and Pop Update

What’s up with Figment? He’s a character now? How did I miss this? Is he full size or a smaller puppet? Does he talk? And finally where is he in relation to the Imagination building? :brick:

What old rumored projects do you want to see John Lasseter reevaluate?

See kids, crack is bad - Odd no one said it was "meh" when it opened. Have you been to DCA? Good? It's Grrrrr-ate! A supplement? Really? Ok - that one did kind-of suck. Good? How can you say good, dude that ride kicks much butt. What was that? Oh right.

    park feature?

The Hat – Ha! But seriously, I do have a ton of photos of the Chinese Theater, and the Earful Tower, but mostly from the first few years Disney/MGM was open. I would say I have taken more shots of Spaceship Earth than any other icon (with the Star Tours walker at a close second).

What old rumored projects do you want to see John Lasseter reevaluate?

By the way I liked California Adventure, it’s on par with the Disney/MGM Studios, I don’t see why people hate it so much.

What old rumored projects do you want to see John Lasseter reevaluate?

The cost cutting wasn’t Eisner’s goal at all. He did big things but got beaten up by the board (that Roy Disney was part of) for not turning profits quicker, so in the late 90s that’s what he was forced to do. Disneyland Paris is by far the best Magic Kingdom (and I’ve been to 3 of them) because...

Jaws has reopened in Universal ...

I think that Universal the main theme park has always seemed to be second rate (to me) and this new advertising campaign of “attacking” Disney is more proof of how desperate they have become. Islands of Adventure on the other hand is nice park, I like it a lot. Each area is themed 100%...

Jaws has reopened in Universal ...

I went to Universal the first year it opened and that Jaws ride had broken down and didn’t re-open for two years, I thought wow that must be one complex ride system. When I finally got a chance to ride it, I couldn’t understand why it took so long to re-open, because that ride is awful. I was so...
