    Monorail Expansion?

You are paying to use Disney transportation. Do you think that Disney needs to charge that much for parking? So guests who are not staying on property are paying for the transportation as well as the costs that are built into the room rates. It’s paid for in spades.

    Pecos Bill Restruant evacuation

Perhaps it was a failed experiment by the Timekeeper and 9-Eye to try to stay and find a new home at the Magic Kingdom. Side note: Nice classic cartridge avatar, I loved that game.

    Pecos Bill Restruant evacuation

How the heck would you empty that restaurant in an orderly fashion? It’s always so freak’n crowded, people can’t even use the burger bar in an orderly fashion. I can’t even stand to go in there when it’s busy, it drives me nuts.

Are we on the cusp of major attraction announcements??!!

Would you say the Buzz Lightyear ride is an E-Ticket attraction? It uses the same track as a free attraction did, it’s just now you can move and shoot, yet people go to Tomorrowland to ride Buzz. I think Philharmagic is a large draw as well, after all Disney did market the heck out of it as they...

Are we on the cusp of major attraction announcements??!!

I think that the Motor stun show pales in comparison to the Indian Jones show and I’ve seen Indy like 15 times and the Motor only 1 time. Indy can be a little cheesy with the guy in his pajama shirt, but that’s part of the charm. There is room for an Indy ride if Disney decides to go that rout...

Are we on the cusp of major attraction announcements??!!

You’re right about MGM it seemed more laid back before they changed the layout to open up the back area and that was back when the park only had half the attractions it has now. I don’t think the issue is that there isn’t enough to do at MGM, I just think the layout is bad. Perhaps a few smaller...

Are we on the cusp of major attraction announcements??!!

Well now that we are talking about what we would like to see happen, I’ll toss my 2 cents in to the mix. MK – Timekeeper should be replaced with a TRON themed attraction, I know this will never happen, but by golly I want to see it. The old Skyway building needs to be turned into a small...

Beastly Kingdom may come back to Animal Kingdom!

 Yeah I can’t wait for Wednesday to hear about the new Harry Potter ride, but Friday’s the best - that’s when we’ll find out where the new monorail track will finally go. :p

    Night of Joy 2006

Things Walt wouldn't have approved of

I still say that’s propaganda propitiated by big business and big government (that wants subversive control instead of being public about it), but you’re entitled to your opinion and as you stated we shouldn’t debate ideology here (unless it pertains to Fantasyland East) so I will refrain. That...

Things Walt wouldn't have approved of

Hold on I missed this one. You got issues. The concept of an organized society or culture exists entirely on its rules and boundaries; once you remove them you have created anarchy. To legislate morality is what civilized society does. The concept of freedom can only exists with checks and...

Things Walt wouldn't have approved of

    1. Didn’t Disneyland open with a Circus themed area? I think Walt would say the themeing is just fine in Dinoland, in fact I bet the only difference is Walt would do it bigger. 2. You’re right about the death of Tomorrowland. However Walt would be the first one to promote his movies any way he...

    Animlal Kingdom News?

The story could focus on the village’s relation to a pride of lions or a pack of zebras. Or animal spirits, that could be good.

    Animlal Kingdom News?

Why not add a “dark type” ride to Africa, they could use large capacity vehicles (Great Movie ride) and tell some of the darker legends of the African tribes. Try this – guests enter an African museum and are invited to hear a story from a Shaman. They sit in the “theater” and then a...

Things Walt wouldn't have approved of

I too like the whole Chester and Hester Dinoland at AK! But Walt wouldn’t be happy with the Walt Disney World Resort at all, it’s nothing like what wanted it to be. If Walt had his way WED Enterprises would be planning communities all over the world now. The Disney Company would be so much more...

    A new Star Tours clue??

No, my point about Spider-Man is that it’s such a unique ride system. It can be said that Universal ripped off the dark ride concept and the 3D movie attraction from Disney – but they did something new with it in Spider-Man, and Disney shouldn’t even try to develop along those lines.
