    General Star Wars Discussion

The 70s and 80s had amazing movies win Best Picture. But as you can see they are all mostly relationship, mafia and bio-pics. No scifi or fantasy. It's kind of a list of my favorite movies. 1990 - "Driving Miss Daisy" 1989 - "Rain Man" 1988 - "The Last Emperor" 1987 - "Platoon" 1986 - "Out of...

Raiders of the Lost Ark was up for similar nominations. It lost best picture to Chariots of Fire. It's a little hard to win when you go up again the classics like that. Movies today just suck. Wins Best Art Direction — Norman Reynolds, Leslie Dilley, Michael Ford Best Film Editing — Michael...

Disney (and others) at the Box Office - Current State of Affairs

One Piece is suppose to be the longest running anime series. I think it's like 30 years of daily shows. The Netflix show wasn't bad. It was much better than Cowboy Beebop was.

Cool! Another fan. Personally I'm more of a One Piece fan. So much for Anime being a "niche market". Just making sure your not someone walking in thinking you're getting Pokemon.

You guys realize Demon Slayer is rated R for gore. Lots of beheadings and corpse eating. This ain't Pokemon.

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

Cracks happen on new concrete. They just need to smooth that area over. It's right in the middle.

At least it isn't Chainsaw Man. Saw that HHN. Not safe for the Disney faithful.

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

Five nights at Freddy's maze was huge and excellent. Lots of Jim Henson audio animatronics that walk. It wasn't scary but a technical marvel. The Terrifier maze had a 200 minute wait. It was gross, disgusting and wet. It's Art's greatest kills. People loved it! There is a hallway with bleach...

    All things Universal Studios Hollywood

USH recently cut about 100 yards of hillside away from the hill next to the Mummy for a retaining wall. It is a giant concrete wall about five stories tall. They put the queue for the Jason Universe maze there. They just finished this project a week or two ago. Right in the middle of that huge...

I recently saw Toy Story in the theater for Harkin's Classic Movie night for $5. What makes this release special over that besides the price?

What I've noticed is the pre-purchased tickets don't always have people in them when you are actually there. It's like bots grab the tickets and try to sell them elsewhere or people just don't show up which is weird.
