If you look at the concept art of the mine train, the cottage area has a nice wide open walk way area in front of it. I have to believe that this area would be utilized at some point as a meet and greet area having the cottage in the background.

I don't know, it looks more like an area to sit and eat than a DVC Kiosk. I agree that the back side of the mountain appears to match the look of Little mermaid. I think it is going to fit in really nicely. The transition I worry about is the one between mermaid and Belle's village.

We ate at both for breakfast on our last trip. The standard food is the same but Donald's has more specialty items which were really nice. The Characters also seemed to spend more time with you at Donald's but that may have just been our luck.

yea if you look close you can see the two large bridges in front of Be Our Guest and one smaller one to the west near Belle's Cottage. I think this is something that has been so popular in AK that it will make its way into all major construction projects until people get tired of it. It is a really low cost way of making something as mundane as a concrete walk way a part of the story.

The truss work around the top and the way it extends past the roof area suggests they are going to hang a scrim.

lol yea it looks like they just kept the original steel work because that was the minimum amount they could keep and still call it a refurb. The new steel totally encapsulates the original tent structure. lol
