It makes me wonder what will happen if you are on the ride and they have to pause the turntable for slow moving guests or other reasons. Will your adventure be prolonged or will you stare at a blank screen? Questions I am sure that the Imagineers have already addressed.

I agree. The press release does leave it open that they may require them in the future. Probably depends on how things go in DL. I made reservations for Labor Day weekend after the announcement. I will find out first hand.

I thought the press releases talked about reservations not being required for Hollywood Studios unlike DL where they were required. Are you talking about something else?

I think both 1.0 and 2.0 have their pluses and minuses. This is probably one of the last rides at EPCOT that can still trace its roots to the blend of education and fun. Both versions are based somewhat on engineering which is cool. 1.0 dealt with testing a car for environmental and real world...

Has there been any additional concept art for the outside of this attraction? The image that was released when they announced the attraction seemed a little vague. Maybe D23?

I assume that is for guests that need more time to board the gondola?

I am assuming that Doppelmayr is supplying all the parts for the lifts and expertise but that construction, especially of the stations, is a separate contractor? Do you think Doppelmayr actually hired the contractor?

I don't understand the people complaining about only 2 rides attractions and no TSR. Disney is already spending huge amounts of money here and the place looks great. Would we really want some of the cool areas be taken away for a table service restaurant? Or have some 'meh' third attraction like...

If only BioReconstruct could get some pictures from inside the attractions. Would love to see what that looks like.

I assumed they would be using the old entrance to expand the parking lot. From the pictures I can't tell what they are going to do with it. Any ideas?

Agreed. I have much more fun over at Pat O'Brien's in Citywalk than I have had at Jelly Rolls. No cover charge there.

Do you really think there is a possibility of them opening that early? With an announced time frame of fall, I would be thrilled to see it open before September.

I would assume the tarps won't come off until right before they open it. They wouldn't want to have a bunch of themed gondolas hanging in the air that guests can't ride.

Poor choice of words. Maybe I should have said the 'critical path'. The scheduled item that will take the longest to complete. Manufacturing of the gondolas is not what is driving the schedule.

I realize all the cars aren't there yet but the one of the cars they do have says it was packed in July of last year. There were rumors a few months ago that the manufacturing was behind schedule but if the ones delivered was sent off 7 months ago, the gondolas should not be the hold up.
