I truly hope your summer vacation this year. And remember WDW is what you make it. If you enjoy the moment it will be great, if you complain about the cost, crowd, past, etc... it won't be as much fun. My first time was 1973 at 10 years old. I have enjoyed the many times since with my 4 kids.

Thanks for the reply. I would like to know what the actual rides themselves cost. It does kind of make sense to include all the costs in adding something like removing the old rides.

As a comparison, what is Disney paying for SW:GE? I had heard a figure of $750 million which, if true, does make the $300 million price tag for Tron seem high. Or is GE even more expensive?

I was looking at the pictures posted today. In picture 29 of 33 it looks like the back of the Muppets show building will be visible from inside the park. That would take away from the immersion of the area. Does it look that way to anyone too?

You are assuming the rumors are true and they are going to buy new trains. They may not be updating them anytime soon. Also, if they have a scheduled maintenance program that has to do with safety, you can't just skip it for a year or two. I am sure Disney doesn't want to have any accidents. Can...

It is a great ride. It is really hard to describe because from a thrill ride point of view it is not so great. But it is still such a satisfying ride. I have a teenager (the one on the right) who doesn't like most roller coasters but loves this one. A pre-schooler who is tall enough all the way...

I agree that it was a relatively poor description. Compared to the rest of the park, it had a different feel.

I saw where they closed down the pathway between Tomorrowland and Storybook Circus. As much as I like attractions, it is a little sad to see a quiet, gardened area going away.

I worked in Florida at a place that cared about earthquakes. My understanding from the civil engineers is that Florida is not prone to earthquakes. Hurricanes, tornados, sinkholes yes but not earthquakes.

So Disney is saying there is still a chance it will have a/c.:p

Seems like very dark tinting. It would have been nice for the doors to be shown open to get a look inside. It could have been this was just a lightweight unit for display purposes that has no seats or moving doors.
