Disney characters in IASW = most inconsequential change ever?

I do know the lyrics, and they are not at all what bothers me about the song. It is the bouncy music they are set to on the ride and the repetition that make the song annoying, not the message.

Star Wars themed land announced for Disneyland

There will be a lot of angry Disneyland fans no matter what changes they make. There are always a lot of very angry people every time Disney announces any change. If Disney paid attention to every fan outrage there would never be any changes or expansions ever. Personally, my philosophy is...

    Annual Pass prices raised (again)

Three years ago my family purchased Premier Annual Passes (the one for both DLR and WDW) for $749 each. They are now $1439 each. It kind of crazy that the price nearly doubled in that amount of time! That said, these passes would still be a bargain for people who go to the parks a lot. A one...

    On property vs. Off Property

My family always stays on property, usually at GCH. We just like being right there, and able to go right to the gates or Downtown Disney. We are going in a couple of weeks and will be staying at the Disneyland Hotel. I love the rooms (especially the headboards) and the pool area and Trader...

Your reason why someone should get a life ban from WDW

Umm...those asterisks were not mine. Since when is fan ny a bad word?

Your reason why someone should get a life ban from WDW

Serious answer: violence or threat of violence, stealing, vandalism, other illegal things, blatantly/repeatedly breaking Disney rules after being warned Not so serious list: Entitled, spoiled people who feel the need to loudly demand whatever they want Not showering/wearing deodorant Bathing in...

    First time visitor to Disneyland...observations

October is pretty busy, especially on the weekends. April can be a little busy because of the Spring Breaks, but it isn't bad. Summer and Christmas time are the crazy times. Mostly the busy times coincide with school breaks.

Disney characters in IASW = most inconsequential change ever?

IASW is probably my least favorite ride anyways, but for me the Disney characters did add something. To me IASW is a ride full of really creepy dolls and the most annoying song you could possibly get stuck in your head running a loop. The Disney characters don't change that, but they did give me...

    Favorite Animatronic Show

I guess I was just thinking "things full of animatronics" :)

    Favorite Animatronic Show

My favorite is American Adventure. I also like Spaceship Earth, which wasn't listed in the poll.

First Trip to Disneyland...have a few questions. :)

I would suggest doing the first Paint the Night, the fireworks, and then the 2nd Fantasmic! Find a spot on Main Street on the Frontierland side down towards the hub for the parade and fireworks so you can make your way over to the Fantasmic! area without too much headache. The crowd movement...

First Trip to Disneyland...have a few questions. :)

Cafe Orleans is my favorite, so good choice on that :) I recommend the breakfast buffet at Storytellers in GCH because the food is really good (especially the caramel French toast), and you would want a reservation for that, or any other buffet or character meals. I also love the Carthay...

Star Wars themed land announced for Disneyland

I will wait to see what they actually have planned before I get excited or freak out. I am not as much of a purist as some are, and I actually like it when DL does big new things. As others have stated, much of TSI isn't used, and the wooded areas with the mannequins is hardly a major plus for...

    Halloween party capacity?

I am sure my kids will want to do some, especially since we rarely have candy or sweets at home, so I will remember that. I just hope I get their costumes done in time :depressed: Thanks!

    Halloween party capacity?

That's good! I was really hoping party capacity was not close to park capacity! Thanks C.C!

Why not do what Universal does?

That's weird. I have gone a few times, including the summer HP opened, and have never been charged for the lockers by any ride when they make you use them. There was a water ride that we decided to use lockers for, but they weren't required, so we did have to pay then.

    Attraction Pleasant Surprises

The Great Movie Ride in DHS. I had some people tell me it was boring and dumb, so I didn't bother with it the first time I went. The second time I went I had some time to kill before a dining reservation and there was no line so I decided to try it. I loved it!

Why not do what Universal does?

Universal has some rides (mostly the bigger ones) that they don't allow you to take bags or belongings that could fall off on. They have lockers near those rides that you can use for free. They are on a computerized system that uses the locker number and a fingerprint to access the lockers so...

    Possible Disneyland FastPass Changes

I actually like the FP+ system, and find being able to use my phone for fastpasses very convenient. The only pass we booked before our last trip were the 7DMT, which had just opened a month before. Everything else we booked either on our way to parks in the morning or while we were there. Just...
