The parade runs from Main Street to Frontier Land. Reversing the direction and turning everything around just for only a preview sounds like nightmare, if it can even be done.

They've always been able to run 2 parades with an 11PM close. Operationally a 9:20 fireworks makes a 10PM close easier than 10PM fireworks with a 10PM close.
