The outcome of this case is going to be newsworthy, no matter which way it goes. This is the first time that Disney has defended an attraction in court, as most other cases are either settled out of court or dismissed (per mouse planet).

We are a litigious society, unfortunately. Judge Judy is one of top ten syndicated tv shows watched by approximately 10 million people on a daily basis. Can you even fathom that? I can't. Are there really that many people with nothing better to do? :shrug:

The stroke happened a few weeks after his ride on ToT. But the entire series of events happened 12 years ago. Why the rush to justice? Or, did they file their claim back when it happened and it took this long to make it to trial? :shrug:

We, as a society, are getting lazy in regards to safe-guarding our own lives. Is it always someone else's fault? Seems to be, doesn't it? :rolleyes:
