When are you going? We just stayed in Boulder Ridge. It was okay, but I'd avoid it right now until the construction is finished--the walk from the villas to anything right now is realllly long. I'd do Animal Kingdom personally. Then the main Wilderness Lodge building. Boardwalk is fun, but...

Update: just checked out. The walk from the villas section to anything is pretty long. Otherwise the construction wasn't that noticeable.

Checked in tonight--we received our gift card no problem. It was in an envelope at the desk with our name on it. Happy surprise though--as of right now, the entire food court is still open! Barbados village is completely closed. Kind of annoying because they fenced off the Sidewalk of the bay...

Just left there. As other mentioned, grab and go breakfast stuff was available at territory lounge. Try Geyser Point--we really liked it. I did not see a rapidfill station at territory lounge and the walk to Geyser Point from the villas was pretty long just for that--you have to go all the way...

We are here now. Barbados is completely closed for refurbishment. I was expecting Old Port Royals Food court to be closed because we got the $75 gift card--right now everything is still open. The main pool and Caribbean Cay should be completely unaffected the whole time you are here.

Spend a day at Stormalong Bay and then go for a Kitchen Sink. It's not that I cant forever...just for the foreseeable future.

Whoops. I "broke" the Disney Magic

I think my family is tired of hearing about this...so yay for a place to talk about it with people who care ;) The first week of May we are taking our kids to Disney for the first time! I went multiple times as a child and my husband and I went with our in-laws and our then 6 month old daughter...

Another question with this--will I get flack if I order one adult meal for my kids to share using a quick service credit? Will they even know if we are ordering in advance?

But in your case, that might work in your favor...you need the extra sit down credits anyway. Still might be too much food, though.

I think right now I'm leaning towards going to Trader Sams and getting a drink big enough to make the extra magic hours at Magic Kingdom that much more "magical." Although...a nap is going to sound realllllly good too.
