Gotcha - parking they will definitely need. And as you and danlb _2000 pointed out, the parking lot work could always be pushed out further, as long as decreased parking is compensated for via structures or other options. Thanks guys.

I’m still very confused as to why they decided to landlock the Studios. They had a chance to push the park boundaries out further than they were and instead decided to add more parking. Does anyone else feel this way? After all is said and done, will they even need to push the park out further?

Is the entire carousel moving down a ride track in Tony's design? I like the idea since each rider would be able to see the show scenes, but I can only imagine this design would be extremely costly. But to answer your question, yes, I had something similar in my mind when I heard Mary Poppins...

Is management not considering doing both for the same attraction? Imagine you start out on a carousel and all of sudden... oops! Mary and Bert have whisked you away into a dark ride. At the very least why not do the dark ride with the ride vehicle being a 4-person carousel horse.
